Damn rights! I am buying one as soon as it is released here, already have the money for it Then pre-ordering OoT 3DS when I can. Yeah the PSP 2 is better than the first, but the 3DS graphics have already been confirmed worldwide as the most advanced handheld in every way. From games like Resident evil revelations.

Seriously, no one ever said the 3DS is the most advanced handheld in "every way". It is simply untrue. In fact, the PSP 2 is more graphically advanced than the 3DS, and saying otherwise is simply not true, whether you want to believe it or not.

Also, why all the Sony hate? I don't understand why people have to like one company over the other, especially considering the fact that the companies themselves rarely make the best games for their platforms. Take the PS3 for example. Cremeens, you said something about Sony not having original, and good characters? Have you played Uncharted? I mean, seriously, the characters in that game has charm and personalities than even some of the best movies of last year.

Seriously guys, there's literally no reason to be "patriotic" about your favorite console maker. The only thing you get out of it is not being able to play other, fantastic games, that are released on other consoles. It's one thing to enjoy Zelda more than, say, Grand Theft Auto, but to completely disregard the entire library of games on a console simply because "it's not Nintendo", is ignorant and even sad, cause you're missing out on some of the best video game experiences currently on the market!

Well, I don't like most Sony games so there. My opinion, and nothing should be said about it. Dude, you can't just say things like that. Sure, Sony has good characters, but no where as good as Nintendo. I think Nintendo is better in almost every way. The only thing that makes the PS3 better then the Wii is it's graphics. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm only saying I enjoy the Wii better. That is all. None of there games are bad. It's just I'm so loyal to Nintendo that I just like them better. For all the people who Like Sony better, well that's good for you. But to me, nah.

Robin, that post kicks ass. I completely agree. What is up with all this "Patriotic-like" talk? You know what game loyalty gets you? Absolutely nothing. Don't just buy a game because you like the makers, because every game is different. There is no reason for not buying an Xbox just because you think you are "loyal" to Nintendo.

One day, you'll all grow up and learn that you're more competitive than the actual companies are. And you'll learn to care about more important things than video games. Guys, video games aren't about loyalty, they aren't about who's better than the other- it's about having fun. Take that to heart. It's like saying, "I eat steak, but not grilled salmon, because steak is more original or something, and I refuse to look at grilled salmon without thinking about a juicy medium rare steak!" And sheesh, when you harbor so much hatred toward the other consoles to begin with, of course your perspective is going to be distracted. Sometimes, all you need is a fresh look to realize that "Hey, *game in series I've never heard of* for *system I don't play* is pretty cool."

Anyway. I don't care what you show on OoT3D. I've seen it all already... just take every other request.

See this? This is Uncharted running on PSP 2. As you can see, it's a lot more graphically advanced than anything we have seen on the 3DS so far. Again, saying otherwise simply could not be more untrue!

Saying such a thing that Sony doesn't have nearly as good characters as Nintendo, or that Nintendo is better in every way... or that the only thing that makes the PS3 better than the Wii is its graphics... all of those statements are horribly biased, and completely untrue. There's no such thing as a "best video game console". It's all preferences, but what I am saying is that you shouldn't say that you don't like the games on the PS3, simply because they're not Nintendo. I can guarantee that if this is really what you think, you still have a lot of games left to try. I highly doubt you've tried them all

Guys, this is silly. It's pointless to go on about Nintendo being "better" than everyone else. You never judge a game because of who's publishing it, but because of the game itself. And to say that Nintendo has better characters than Sony... I don't know where you got that from man, what's so good about Mario, character-wise? He's an Italian "plumber" who's never actually had anything to do with plumbing. Ever. And Link? He's a straight up typical cliche hero-with-a-sword, who doesn't speak. I'm not saying these characters are bad, no, not at all... but to say that they are better than everything else on the market... wow, that's... that really is a biased statement. What about Mass Effect's characters? I don't think I've seen more fleshed-out and unique characters in a game ever. Or Uncharted, as I mentioned earlier, with Nathan Drake. Watch this video, it's a great example of the fantastic writing that makes Nathan Drake one of the best video game characters since... I don't even know. He's like Indiana Jones + Extra Awesomeness.

First person shooters is one genre, and you can get them on the Wii too. The PS3's library does not consist of FPS' only, in fact, there's a great number of games from all genres, be it RPG's, Action-adventures, Cinematic gaming experiences (IE Heavy Rain), dungeon crawls, racing games... it's all there, and its got a much greater number of games than the Wii does, so restricting yourself to one console simply because it's one from Nintendo is pointless. Of course, I'm not saying you need to get a PS3... not at all, I mean, not everyone can afford one, and that's okay, but don't say you don't want one because it's not Nintendo. That's just shallow.


Also, might I add that the Wii is the number one console for shovelware. This is not good, because that means most of its library of games consits of bad, poorly made party/dance games that no one really wants to play. Most of the best titles on the Wii come from Nintendo themselves, where as on the other platforms, great games comes from all over, from hundreds of thousands of different developers. Of course, that's not saying there aren't bad games on them too, but the Wii truly does stand out when it comes to shovelware. I should know, I worked at a gaming store, and got to see all of em >_<
