Actually, for me it would suck if SS came with WiiMotionPlus. I already popped $20 for one by itself.

Dude. Just softmod your Wii to get rid of the region protection. icon_unsettled.gif It's so easy, 9 year olds on youtube make fricken tutorials on how to do it.
Well yeah but eh ordering from over seas and waiting for it to arrive is bleh unless the Australian release date is 2 or more weeks after everyone else gets it. And you can run European games without needing to mod your Wii iirc.

I have however modded my Wii to be region free though amongst other things simply because it is so easy to do.

Hey, it wouldn't suck. It would just fail to rock. icon_wink.gif My advice: enjoy your Wii Motion Plus plenty now, so you'll have gotten your $20 worth.

Also, keep in mind: it's not like the Wii Motion Plus will come free with the bundle. They'll probably charge an extra $10-15 for the bundle deal. So really, you'll only have lost the discount, not the full $20 price of buying the Motion Plus separately.

P.S. - If the gold remote is included in a Wii Motion Plus bundle deal, that would indeed be a lost opportunity, but it's possible the bundle wouldn't even be priced to net you a savings... yeah, people would still buy it for the gold remote. Seriously. After all, they need a Motion Plus for SS, anyway.

I am frequently disconnecting my motion plus because I play NES games on my wiimote
(I can't believe you can't switch the A and B usage on the classic controller),
and my question is this - does the wii motion plus still work if i constantly disconnect
and reconnect it, or do I have to 'reset' the controller each time?

Presumably you will need to sync it when starting Zelda: SS as well as after anytime you disconnect the motion plus accessory during the game. The problem you describe isn't an issue with the newer motion plus controllers as they are the same size as a standard wii controller but with motion plus built in.

Hm.. icon_eyebrow.gif

Am I the only one who sold my 2 Wii remotes to buy those built in Motion-Plus ones? They're the same size as a regular remote, so you don't need that annoying plug-in. Trust me, trade in your controllers and buy built in Motion-plus ones. They all have those soft plastic protective cases too.

I believe I got a bit over 10 dollars for them back last Christmas. I think now you get about 6 dollars and a couple cents. Probably not worth it now.

What about Super Smash Bros. Brawl? That's pretty easy to enjoy. Even better if you have Gamecube controllers lying around.

What are you basing your experiences on? the SNES Metroid game? Yeah I hate that game too though the GBA Metroid Zero Mission is similar yet significantly better in every single way including graphically which is pretty impressive.

Basically every platforming/fpsrpg Metroid game except Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Other M etc. are great.
