An underground cave system would be a nice addition to the original Zelda. Maybe being the only way to pass the river in the beginning of your quest, and having an alternate, quicker access across the stream later on.
Just throwing out ideas.
oHH yeah. I'm trying that. only not an artful way to do the caves. like, you 'feel' the whole system with things that involve "wow, it's like I am really where I am".
I just don't know how many caves to make, in what shape. and i use the classic tile set, "because they told me to make my first with it and not worry about being pretty"
I got a lot of extra stuff, using the "original" map(which I did special things to, not that original, but still special)
and incase one wants to try to cheat the system with flippers, I kind of changed some tile types. unless there was a screen disabling item thing I missed.
fake water is not as bad as shooting trees.

The prophecy had been true, the Triforce had changed into monstrosity and soon everyone kept spamming fail comments...
Truly Hyrule had never been this close to the brink of mass destruction.

Dang, that looks cozy. I love the little plant in the lower left, and that nice fireplace. Maybe I'll move in ...

Thanks! I'm glad my house making skills improved. I'm a little concerned about my nostalgia for the GB Zeldas. I tend to follow the GB rules carefully therefore, you can see "odd" colouring in some areas - especially the walls behind the furnace. But I want to make this as if it were on a Gameboy itself. I personally like it, but others might.
