That Magic Upgrade is super duper tentative and is basically just a placeholder right now. If the stamina system discussed in the discord gets implemented, then expect that to change to some other item, and if a magic system is used instead, then perhaps it could be replaced with a magic ring. Also this is my tenth screen so hurrah.

Also, you can bomb the wall past the Armos to get a second cave. Whether that's just a secret or another entrance into whatever the lower cave is, we can work out.
Also, to get to the town and maybe Monstro Carnival, you pretty much have to go through the desert now. Unless Monstro Crnival is accessible from the East and lets you through.
Related, I like the idea of having the bridge come out into the desert. Again, we can't set anything out like that, but I like the idea.

The screen has a bombable entrance as well as a hookshot gate. I also quickly whipped up a new item called the "Shortshot" (I think Anthus came up with the name on the discord). It's a short hookshot intended as a ladder replacement.
I also did a little maintenance on some of my other screens. Nothing big, just some tiny tweaks and fixes.

Just because I wanted my one other idea for this place to happen, I've broken the bridge on the left side. Now it has to be broken on the right too! Hahaha!
Also, it's not as good as my previous screen here, but it works.
Anyway, changed up the maze path screen to make going down actually work (because I forgot to account for that again). Also, replaced the music for Gori's House of Horrors with an actual good MIDI of the track. Took me a bit longer to make than I expected, but it's done.
Also, made a few extra minor combos to make this work, and added flag 97 to combo 2207 (lava border) so that darknuts wouldn't walk on them.

Level 1 has a boss room, and may be functionally complete. Apparently there's a secret room below this one, then it may be fully complete?
Also updated DMap and Compass settings.
Boss-lock carryover from 34 to 35 doesn't seem to be working ATM, whoever broke standard doors and carryovers can fix this, I can't be arsed.
Be careful not to fall off. Or get hit by a stray tile. Or fall down the hole underneath that stray tile.

Added some missing raft paths to s1C and enemies to my previous s0D. s0C warps to the 'dev room' and vice versa, but you need the flippers.
I need help fixing the side warp in s0D to be closed if no one has bombed the wall on the overworld! Thank you!

Oh, pnw, if you want, I can add a bomb combo (boulder) to the entrance on m23s0D. Since there are no other secrets on either screen, using bomb flags, and room state carry overs should work. I forget if RSCs are permanent, but if it doesn't work, I'll change it back, and let someone else take a stab at it.

Yeah, they're just as permanent as any secrets in NES Dungeon. Although, I think if you set rooms to be treated as Interior, RSCs work fine as well.

I think I got pnw's room working. I just checked "no reset" for secrets in the RSC menu to be safe.
