This announcement sure is a thing that leaked out.
Seems like it'll just be a port with some new convenient features, I guess? I'm worried the game won't run all that great on the New 3DS though, just considering that it has its moments of struggle on the Wii U. Still, Tetra and The King (of Red Lions) being playable is pretty cool, though it's probably not gonna be enough to make me buy it (along with a New 3DS).

Wow, this looks so exciting! I'd rather have on my Wii U, but it'd still be fun to have it on the 3DS.

Now consumers don't have to buy a Wii U to get the Hyrule Warriors experience. A pretty solid announcement. Hyrule Warriors on the go. Can't argue about that. 
Is it a new campaign or the same as the Wii U version?

Ooo, this looks interesting. I especially like the idea of playing as Tetra and King Daphnes. I'm looking forward to hearing more of this!

Dat Wind Waker remix.
Also these characters better make it to the Wii U version as standalone DLC. I don't like Hyrule Warriors enough to buy it again on 3DS just for two characters. Also it's apparently not a New 3DS game, just a regular one, judging by that box art cover.

Considering how some of the cutscenes match exactly to the Wii U version, I'm feeling like, 99% positive that it's a port. Although, I will redact my thoughts about it being New 3DS only, considering the box-art doesn't say so. Still, would probably run better on it, plus needing the c-stick to rotate the camera... 
I do wonder if they'll release a Wind Waker themed adventure pack, though. That could be really neat.

Sounds pretty neat! I've been wanting to play Hyrule Warriors, but don't own a Wii U. My 3DS gets a lot of playtime, so I'd love to give this a try. Besides, I keep hearing how some games work better on a New 3DS (Monster Hunter and Xenoblade are the only ones I know of particularly, though), and I'm curious just how much of a difference that little bit of extra hardware makes.
May the way of the Hero lead to the Triforce.

Hmm? Who's Linkle? I mean, besides gender-swapped Link. Where's she from?
I also hope that the WW characters appear in Wii U DLC without forcing you to buy the 3DS version. Unlike Smash Bros, I'd say one copy of the game is enough for me.

Given Tecmo Koei's track record, I get the feeling this the Xtreme Legends expansion that I was expecting.
The good thing is that like, there's an incentive to buy this one over other Xtreme Legends Warriors games.

Linkle was found in Hyrule Warriors' concept art fairly early on, I believe she was relative of Link, I forget the relation, but she was essentially gender-swapped Link except a relative instead of Link himself. The team scrapped her, but after her discovery the support for her inclusion has been pretty high, so there's a chance she may end up making it to the final game. But I agree, the name's kinda dumb.
