Anybody else send over the event Arceus and do that strange event? They really went over the top. Way, way, over the top.

So what's the Arceus event? O_o
* Meganium
* Arcanine
* Espeon
* Dragonite
* Politoed
* Heracross
- Typhlosion
- Pichu
- Pidgeot
- Victreebell
- Gyarados (the Red one)
- Graveler
But since I can't get Pichu until after the Elite Four (unless they made Pikachu available in Johto), then I'll probably do what I did in Silver and focus on catching Lugia and teaching it Icy Wind so I can use it against Lance. And, like in Silver, Typhlosion will be taught Thunderpunch.

@TS
Nice, but it's a shame that they weakened Typhosion's ATK so Thunderpunch would not be as effective as in the original Silver version.

I chose a cute little Cyndaquil (aka MAD HATTER) and am plugging along. Love love love. I'm going admit right now that I've... never played gold or silver. *cringe* Not all the way through anyway! I played a couple hours when I borrowed it long ago, but this is like a whole new game for me. So it's awesome. Then again, not really a whole new game because, well, it's Pokemon... bahahaha.
Mine's probably gonna be the same as it is in Silver:
- Typhlosion
- Pichu
- Pidgeot
- Victreebell
- Gyarados (the Red one)
- Graveler

Reeeeally? Pichu? =/
Nothing against it, but it's kinda... weak, isn't it? All of the other ones listed in your party are tanks.

Oh yes, I actually remember reading about that, now. Duh me.

Hey, it's not like I do much battling outside of the game's system itself, and when Typhlosion makes it to a certain level, you almost don't even need the rest of the party.
Plus, I get as many of those Iron, Protein, Calcium, Carbos, and HP UPs as I can and give 'em all to Pichu, so that helps. And maybe I'll look into EV training it, as well.

If you want, I could let you borrow my Pika-Pichu so you could get it.

Hurm... Doesn't that require a lot of, like, finding a hotspot and using some kind of special USB device though? Since I only have a DS Lite...
All you have to do is find a hotspot. Heck, McDonald's has one. Just go there and make a trade.
And, if you don't mind me asking, if you don't trade, how will you get a Pichu? You can't get them until Kanto, unless somebody trades you one. And if you're not evolving it, definitely get somebody to trade you a Pikachu-colored Pichu so you can the Spiky-eared Pichu.
