That block with the arrow can only be pushed after you beat level 2 and that you received the Goron bracelet.

Why can't I get the gumdrop certificate, I got it going through my game, but it isn't working on my second file.

How do I beat the boss in the first dungeon? At least I think this is the boss. I'm in a room that has a purple dragon looking thing. It shoots fireballs. Is this a geelok?

Jerome: Yes, I got the 1/2 magic upgrade.

FredFlinstone: You can get the Blue Tunic somewhere in the LW, but it's one of the big secret items, so I am not going to say specifically where it is. If you can't find it, I am pretty sure it is also available in the IW as well. As far as a bigger wallet, you have to go to the IW first.

Crackers: Kill the enemies on the screen when they appear, then look for something to use the item you got in that dungeon on. Then just keep repeating until it is destroyed.

I am enjoying this quest but am having trouble getting through the lost woods. I get to the screen with the wind blowing octorok and the blue buzz medusa and go north from there but cannot find the spikey tentacles. I'm probably making a dumb mistake. Help please.

Elmensajero, thank you for responding. I followed the directions that I got from an earlier post from CastChaos. From start in the lost woods I went west 8 screens. On the 8th screen the wind blowing octorok and the blue buzz medusa are located. Per the instructions I went north to find the "spikey tentacles". I went north 5 screens until reaching a screen with a lane that has trees on both sides. By continuing to move north this same screen repeats indefinately. Apparently I'm not following the directions correctly. Hope this in enough for you to help. Thanks.

First of all, i got to say, that the cutscene after crossing the portal is excelent, i loved it! Caveman in a rubber outfit? Nice.
Now, i must once again ask, i already beated the necrolodge, which was quite nostalgic, very similar, but now, im at the frozen wastes, and with no way out of mt. deadend.
Once again, the might of mountains have defeated me...

You need to go down all 4 (5?) staircases, each will give you access to one of the screens on the top row of the lava floor. You can remove an obstacle on each screen, once you've done this you can go down the stairs on the west and walk all the way to the east. Then you'll be able to explore the rest of the lava floor.

What do I do after beating level 2? I think I somehow need to get rid of the tentacle 1 screen south of the entrance to death mountain.

dennputt: I have no idea what part of Lost Woods you are talking about. Did you pay the skull kid (or whatever his name was) for directions to the third dungeon in the LW? I took a screenshot of every area of Lost Woods to make sure I didn't miss anything and put it together in one file, so if you give directions to how far you have gotten there so far, I can try and tell you where to go from there.

Yeah I figured it out right after I posted that lol. Where can I find a bigger wallet? I found a ton of free money in Kokiri Forest but have nowhere to put it!

I did all of the stairs but I can't figure out the last part to access. In the NE section of the map, I can't figure out what to do in this area so that I can access the lava floor. I tried the bombs and candle. Any hints? I finally figured it out.

Okay, I've got a few questions. First, in Goron City, there is a heart container piece, but I can't figure out how to get the blocks to go down. How do you get them to go down?

Second, I'm lost in Steaming Systems. I have two keys (one from the wizrobes, one from that was lying on a ledge). There is a room with a treasure chest that keeps moving, and I can't figure out how to get it. Above that is a locked door with a switch that keeps flipping, How do you get through it?

You can't get the chest that moves, it's a joke. For the door you're talking about, bomb it.
