But, wasn't that picture something like a really old Screen Rebirth starting picture or something? I remember seeing it a long time ago for something. It was either the starting screen for a contest, or the picture was originally just intended to ask about the graphics being used for Link, but not necessarily how it matches the Classic tileset.

It's a good screen. I like the simple layout with the mountains.

EARLY work in progress shot of a dungeon set I'm putting together.
I have door graphics, but I haven't recolored/comboed them in yet. That'll be next.
Also, whoever guesses where those water/sand graphics come from gets a cookie.

Redid my main overworld palette.
Looks great, man. Can't wait to see this in action.

That's not really a lot to go by. I love the black and white idea, though.

Hmm... Really liking the black and white thing going in here, Are you making a monochrome game?
That looks pretty darn good if I say so myself. ![]()

Looking good, this is the first time I've seen grey mountains though, which is pretty interesting. ![]()

The idea with the grey mountains is not bad at all. I went ahead and tried myself at some alternate coloration, just to make the colors blend in a little more naturally. Here's what I came up with:

Not bad. I think I actually prefer Saffith's a little bit more though.

Project is on hold ATM. Thought I'll post this. Whiterose did a nice job with the harp. In the mean time while it's on hold, enjoy swag.qst. ![]()

Well, I'm a little uncertain about the perspective with the walls by the opening leading north. I guess it's okay, since it's toward the center of the room; I'm just not sure how the walls will line up on the screen above this one.
I've no clue about the water and sand graphics. They look nice, though! ![]()
... But don't you think the sand looks a little green? I thought it was supposed to be grass when I first looked at it.
@Shane: Nice intro screen, Shane! ![]()
