Me / Linkus are working on the tileset mostly.
Are you ever gonna release the tileset?

Oh yeah, the release of the Firebird tileset, which we are also using for The Hylian Phoenix, will be around the time the game is finished.
Me and Sheik are also working on it, though as Supindahood said, he and Linkus have done most of the work so far.

I'm looking for opinions on a fix to that palette Dawnlight is using. He asked me if I could fix it, I gladly accepted and I want to know what you guys think.

I like it a lot better. Very nice. Much easier on the eyes.

I'm really straining my eyes to see a difference, Sepulcher. ![]()

Well, it's mainly been the darkest grass green making it look "neon" so I toned down the red in the second shot. I don't want to do too much to it as it's supposed to be a field palette. If you open them both up in separate tabs, you can see the difference.

Yeah I agree with Ebola. I say make the greens a bit less saturated. As of now, it looks too saturated.

That screen looks beautiful and has solid screen design
The mountain tiles are perfect! Who made the tileset used for the screen? You did it yourself?
Thanks, as others said, this tileset is known as Firebird and it will eventually be public.
While you're waiting, here's another shot of the village that you can have:

Nothing new; just showing a shot I made a while ago:

Nice work Linkus and Robin! The set is coming along nicely and the screens are amazing. Also Sepulcher, keep working on that palette. It has potential. ![]()

Nice, does the statue do anything if you shoot it?
What is that brown thing in the middle of the field? It feels a bit out of place as a random obstacle.

I have nothing to say about this, except a villager or two would be nice.

It reveals a chest on the stone pad. ![]()
It's a coconut, I felt like adding it to give the lake a less generic feel especially since there are palm trees there. Since they are scattered throughout the map, and this being one of the later screens of the map. It should feel less random.
Thanks!

I have probably spent most time of all us creating and compiling the tileset, but yeah thanks ![]()

Yeah, there aren't any NPCs yet for this tileset. However, to reduce the work, we are taking the approach Link's Awakening pioneered by making nearly all the more significant characters in the game unique from each other, meaning there won't be any NPCs until we compose a list of ones needed for The Hylian Phoenix.
Oh, also these screens from my own little quest, and not from THP. It's mostly to demonstrate the tileset and is likely to be completed before THP.

Oh! I was only complimenting them on the screens and also how nice it is to see the set progressing at a nice pace.
You all did a good job. ![]()

And now, a shot from me that isn't completely green ![]()

I am mostly done with the graphics for level 2. The yellows may be toned down, and there are two different sand tiles for a reason. The ones in the corners act as quicksand, and damage Link, but the stuff in the center is safe. This dungeon uses a lot of conveyors, so I'll probably post another shot showing that off.
Personal critiques: I'm not happy with the square tiles. They were my custom attempt at making something to match the diagonal patterned ones. I'm also not sure about the shading on the rounded door frames, but I think they complement the square walls well.
