I suddenly got super addicted to HW again. It's just so packed full of content. Who knew doing something so repetitive could be fun?

Back into Hyrule Warriors and an currently starting out on the Majora's Mask map now that the patch has been live in Australia for a week or so. Here are a few features of the new update I've discovered so far. Spoilers for people who want to be surprised (some of which were discussed in the IRC channel), despite being a couple of days away from the US release:

To be updated as I gather more information on the update. Credit to PrincessCelestia over on IRC for providing some information to me.

Edit: Corrected an error.

Ooh, thanks for bringing that up!  I've been wondering when it'd come around, since I got my season pass a little while back, courtesy of DCEnygma.  Can't wait to try out Young Link and the new map.  The new "costumes" for each character are pretty great/hilarious, as well.

So the Bosses pack is live in Australia. Like with the MM pack, I will post a few things based on my coverage.

Damn, it's out already? Neat.

I've been meaning to pick up Hyrule Warriors again as I still haven't beaten the first Adventure map. ;-;

I must admit. Being a huge fan of the Ninja Gaiden series. Team Ninja sure knows how to make repetitive gameplay fun. Lol

Got a Wii U a few hours ago and this game. My last console was a GameCube and I rectly got a 3DS. For someone who has been out of gaming for about seven years it's not hard to get back into.

I only finished the Castle part so far but this game is great and the game pad is way better than I expected.

North America finally gets the new pack and patch tomorrow. Not sure why it took two weeks for us to get it, kind of annoying, I mean a one week wait was bad enough, but... ugh. Well, we finally get it at least. Also is it bad I'm more excited for the loading times being reduced to normal than the rest of the pack itself? :heh:

Koei has basically had a history of being biased towards NA, I've noticed. They also tend to love Australia, I've noticed. lol

Yeah, well, Koei can suck my Young Link.

Actually if they did that they'd go to jail and we wouldn't get anymore content, so never mind.

So... I recently bought the Hero of Hyrule pack and am currently doing the Twilight Map. Things are very brutal in this map, (mainly those stages around some edges and center of the map). Does anybody have quite a few tips on how to beat this map for the A Rank rewards? Wait, I think this may be my fault as well. I jumped straight into the Twilight Map with everybody around... Levels 70, only Zelda and Ganondorf are around Level 90 and Link is at Level 190. Any tips on what level is recommended to be in for this map?

Your main options are to overlevel your characters and make effective use of the warp squares dotted across the map to do the other, usually more fair, portions of the map and get them done first. There are three really potent grinding spots found in this manner, which help a lot. I hate that map too for it.
Alternatively, you can skip straight to the Termina Map because that place remains fair for characters levelled in the 50s for most of the map.
