Fun Fact: In a recent article (I'd have to go find it but I'm too lazy), Aonuma admitted that they've been making Zelda games with too much hand-holding, and this is a problem he wants to truly address in ALBW. He's actually been arguing with other developers over avoiding too many hints in the game, one of which took him three days to win the argument that one area didn't need hints. Plus, there haven't been any signs of Link having a companion, either, which is the ultimate source of hand-holding in all the more recent games. (Though Tatl, The King of Red Lions, Midna, and ST Zelda weren't that bad at all, really, you kind of forget that they're companions in the same vein as Navi, Ezlo, or Fi.)

That's what people said about cracked.com, but Cracked focuses on keeping articles serious and well informed, while also adding in humor (which I find very creative and funny at times).
But now, this site here is just a random site I stumbled on, I don't even know the name of the site, just the article. (which is often why I should check the sources of my sources).

And this is EXACTLY what I was talking about, making a non-linear game still story-driven. Pokemon could learn a thing or two from that.

Why yes its a great thing to wake up to. I'm actually quite happy that they are making it where what you do will affect how the story will play out.
Which is telling us that the game is/maybe truly non-linear.
You know one thing I'm wondering as I have not been following this that much but Will you get any items from dungeons or can buy/rent them all from the rental shop...
I mean if that's the case you should be able to buy all the items and have a full inventory without doing much except grind rupees,
I'm hoping maybe its just some of the items are there in the rental shop and the rest of the items or in the dungeons or something.

There are 9 items in the Rental Shop, and from what I've seen, 20 inventory slots. Link has been shown with other items that weren't in the rental shop, so I'd assume that's possible.

Holy crap, that just made it have the potential to be the most replayable Zelda game yet. I mean, cutscenes probably won't differ too much, but still, that's a nice little bonus. Sheesh, they should hold off this information until it's closer to release; over a month before release just makes me anxious and forget Pokemon exists. ![]()

Wow, that's pretty awesome! Even more hyped.
Also, Europe is getting an ALBW bundle. I personally don't like it, because I hate the XL. And the color looks pretty tacky. But the design or the Triforces are perfect!
....I really wish Nintendo would support the original 3DS more. ![]()

Once upon a time, when there were very few Zelda games. (Even before ZC). Fan games seemed so interesting, funny, and strangely amusing in their odd programming. But now it seems like actual Zelda games give me that feeling of interesting, funny, and strangely amusing in their odd programming compared to ZC quests.

This game just gets more and more interesting. At first I was convinced it was going to be pretty bad, but the more I learn the more exited I get. We finally have a nonlinear game! It seems so great. I think this may become a classic.

So there was a Zelda 3DS XL bundle confirmed for Europe. It's been confirmed for the US as well. Oh, and there's a special edition bundle announced for the UK as well. I'd kill to have that in America. ![]()

Nintendo sure likes us Americans...
They wanted to lighten the burden of carrying that much cool stuff...
