Yoshidude - i really like the village, but as lynker said, that bush seems out of place. At least place two tiles away from the end of the screen.

Keichii - Great screen. The only odd thing are those green mushrooms. Dont you think there is enough green in that screen? icon_wink.gif

It's supposed to stop you from leaving the village until you have a sword

That doesn't solve the problem at hand though. Moving it even one tile down would, however. icon_wink.gif

yeah, I suppose there is a lot of green on this screen. It's not there anymore due to constant edits of screens.
I might make my screens more colorful even if I don't really like making trees and such different colors then green.

If I did that robin, you couldn't get back into the village

Looks good, but the mountain to the left looks a bit strange, and the low detailed tree next to the detailed ones.

Besides the detail-clash, as stated above, it looks great!

Here's a plethora of screens that I've been working on, mapped together:

Desert Map Section 1

Obviously tell me what you think!

Very nice, Nathan!
But, the mountains surrounding the castle are way too straight. If it's not meant to be like that (Or is it a desert that used to be a town with a moat...?) change them icon_smile.gif

I just finshed this. What do you guys think?

It is meant to be like that. The whole area used to be farmland before it dried up and was destroyed, and it was one of the irrigation channels.

As for yours...

It looks like walk-ability would be a bit restricted in the middle of that screen, but I'm not sure what you could do to fix it. Also, If you are ever able to reach the island on the right of the river, I'd suggest that you close the corner (Don't bite my head off icon_smile.gif).

It looks really cool, though! Nice work!

@Lynker. Yeah, it's great detailed, but it's kinda cluttered. It kinda looks like you took random stuff and just placed them in the middle.
It also doesn't look very good all together like that. Spread it out and get rid of some of it and it will look splendid icon_smile.gif
