That's what I did for all of your latin. The only latin I know comes from playing SSBB...

And you're right about the verbs. I think Spanish came from latin, which is why they're so similar (except for the accents in Spanish...grr...)

Try learning Italian-it's more similar to latin than Spanish. And learn Spanish while you're at it-it's pretty easy. Then again, I grew up in a Spanish-speaking household, so results may vary.

I don't know. I went to Italy, and I couldn't understand a word they said. Maybe Spanish just comes naturally to me. Regardless, I'm going to learn Spanish, starting next school year.

Ugh, I'm too tired to think logically know. I can pick out random words, but I can't string them together. All I can get is it relates to school and languages.

Let me try it tomorrow, when I'm not tired and I can think clearly.

Ya, I'm on my fifth (and most likely final) year of taking Latin. In fact, I'm taking the National Latin Exam on Thursday to see if I pass and truly do know Latin.

T. Platinum: Very roughly translated, I got "Prepare for lots of school work if you study language". Is that right?

Alestance does not see why he cannot speak in third person in Off the Beaten Path, and infact does n't see why he couldn't speak in third person through-out the entirety of PureZC. It is not spam, not at all.

Especially if you consider the fact that he had asked about the watchmen and really does want an answer.

Koopa does not quite understand why, but has no objection to people talking in the third person.

Snarwin believes that these two pages should be sufficient to explain Watchmen to anyone unfamiliar with it.

Russ is very happy because this thread is finally getting attention, even if we must talk archaically, in third person, or in different languages to achieve activity.

Russ also saw on Yahoo that the creator of Watchmen doesn't like the movie, and critics are split.

Alan Moore does not support either of his film adaptations, the other being V for Vendetta. He's a comics purist, which I respect knowing that the graphic novel was much better than the movie in V's case and will be the same for Watchmen. However, you also have to take into account the fact that anything Alan Moore says is after doing LSD and worshiping his snake god, so you have to take it with a grain of salt. Split critics is bad though, since if RottenTomatoes tell us anything it's that critics and fans usually line up. icon_frown.gif

Nevertheless, I'm still excited about seeing it tonight. My inner fanboy trumps my inner cynic, apparently.
