@ Noel - I confused your Hero of time quest and your prophecies quest, but a demo is better than nothing. Also while the shooter before the manhandela is pretty mean I kind of like it, I am really bad at avoiding shooters but I think it is makeable. Also the music helps a lot to avoid throwing your things
. Beside the bomb-tree the dungeon seems perfect, like it a lot and cannot see how this is old/outdated. Also Shinigamis dungeon (that name is too long to tip on handy) is not a Z1 - dungeon, most rooms have tiered secrets often just hitting one switch after the other. On a side note I tried a long time ago to download your loose tiles, but even with a older zc-version I could not open your zgp's.
@ Shinigami - I was not bothered too much by the red combo, but it is not the first time I encounter a hint for a puzzle in a quest that confuses me a lot more than the actual puzzle, especially if I cannot conect the puzzle with the hint and think I missed something out. Also while I got not stuck in the feather room, I died because of the spikes and I don't see how you get through them without sacreficing 2 hearts, jumping through does not help. After that I got to the room before the boss w/o the boss key, stuck beteeen a 1-way-shutter and a locked boss door.
I just jump over the spikes with the feather.
Oh? I get that now. That was meant to be a regular shutter. I'll have to fix that too. I must have misclicked there.

[Edit] I mean the one on your screenshots and I obviously did oversee the switch

I am talking about the spikes up and down in the side scroller only one combo apart from each other with a 3-combo length. So far I did not overlook a switch no idea how to jump over it without touching the upper spikes.
[Edit] I mean the one on your screenshots and I obviously did oversee the switch
Alright. Yeah. That switch was on the bottom of the screen. xD I honestly used that screenshot on purpose for a hint.

The room has two fire bars and a fire pit. Apparently I put hookshot grab blocks here that people don't notice right away. I will try and make these blocks more noticable in a later build.
This addresses one big issue I've noticed with this submission. It's built assuming that most people have played the expo demo a few months ago with a little care to explain what is going on. It flat out assumes that people should understand what works and it's overall just bad design from my part despite the effort. It seems like most people are not even noticing different types of blocks have different functions, which is a big complaint Noel addressed. This dungeon would have been a lot less confusing if they approached the expo demo first, but I made a bad judgement call here.
The boots are used for wind you'll find later in the dungeon.

Finally gonna be playing these entries now. Gonna do them in order and will edit this post as I complete each one. Looking forward to seeing what's in store this month...
RedTribeLink - Very nice dungeon here. I really like the look and feel of the place, though detail is lacking in some areas. Enemies are quite varied and the Red/Blue block mechanic was used pretty well. I don't really have any complaints other than the fact that the difficulty might be a little high for a Level 2 and those Beamos shooting magic doesn't look right to me. Other than that, was a pretty fun dungeon to go through. Good job!
Maikeru D. Shinigami - This is a pretty standard Z1 dungeon. Screen design is your typical Z1 too, though one room to the left of the start looked really weird with the flashing ice tiles and the off-coloured one on the top left, and one room north of that, there's some random dark blocks which serve no purpose. Other than that, difficulty is balanced, and most of the puzzles are pretty neat, though some of them have some really weird solutions (like the one with the skull, I don't really get what's happening in there). Overall, this dungeon is nothing special, but it's a good Z1-style dungeon at best.
NoeL - Very nicely made dungeon. I really love the looks and the atmosphere of the place and the outside parts of the dungeon are amazingly well designed. Difficulty is balanced throughout and the puzzles are really neat (especially with the water flowing part). I don't really have any complaints about this one other than the fact that it may be a bit too large for a Level 1, but it's still really good anyways. Awesome job!
NewJourneysFire - Fantastic dungeon. Screen design is spot on and everything looks so awesome. It was pretty lengthy but it wasn't too long to the point where you got bored. There's quite a lot of nice shortcuts so you don't need to do things over again and the puzzles throughout the dungeon are all really great. The only complaint I have is that the sideview areas are pretty buggy (when you enter on a ladder and then fall into a pit, for some reason you just fall into the screen below, that gets really annoying). Some sideview areas and rooms are also pretty irritating and get frustrating really fast which kinda ruined the fun for me in some areas. The boss was really worth it though, I had a lot of fun with that one.
Overall, I voted for NoeL's entry with NJF in second. Pretty interesting turnout this month, looking forward to what DotM 3 has in store.

The main idea was that you were meant to emulate the floor design in the top left room (indicated by the colored tile with in the flashing room) with the push blocks. But it sounds to me that it was pretty obvious without my attempt at making a puzzle of it.

Thank you!
Also, don't get me wrong. I didn't make my comment to appear rude. This is the first time I actually noticed something like that.
I guess thesatellite doesn't tend to vote for his SotW contest for this very reason. Then again, I'm not sure if he copy pastes the results of the poll, but if I recall, I think it does.

Honestly, I wasn't sure if I should vote, or comment on my own contest. I basically want to remain as neutral as possible. I'd rather run the contest 'silently' then by picking favorites and whatnot. But yeah, it shows my vote cause it is a screenshot from my account
. It always shows the little blue star next to your pick. I null'd in the first one.
