Am I missing something? I haven't found a shop that sells shields.

The shield is in a later level and then sold in a store in the Dark Shamanock area. I'm stuck in level 6 looking for a way to the upper right side of the map. I've picked up a few nice things but I can't figure out the rooms I'm missing to get to those rooms and the Boss Key.

I finished level 5. I think I found a graphics glitch.

 

 

 

How do I get to this area (white)?

That area is level 6. Use the whistle in one of the warps in Shamanock to get to Dark Shamanock. I'm still stuck trying to get to the top right area and the Boss Key in that level.

You first need to get the level 2 bracelet on the top left corner of the map. Then, there's a passageway 3 screens right from the eentrance it'll lead you to the boss key. I hope this helps .

Thanks a30502355 I've had the bracelet for a while so I'll finally go back and finish that level.

 

 

OMG!!  I need new glasses cause I walked past that staircase wayyy to many times. LOL Level 6 finally done and the Magic Cave and Windmill too.  All that's left of level 7 is to kill the Boss. His minions aren't bad but he's a pain in the ass.

Do you mean the level 4 sword, it's located in castle 4, hall of kings.

It's in the Dark World in the Magic Cave. Top left area of the map. You need the power bracelet to move the stone in front of the entrance.

Hmm, not sure if I've been to the Dark World, where is it?

You can only get the Magic Sword by using the whistle on the various ocarina squares in the village of Shamanock. After blowing the whistle you will be transported to  the Deep Dark Shamanock  area.  It's a new overworld map with the rest of the dungeons and swords.

I still can't find the magic cave.

The Magic Cave is In Deep Dark Shamanock in the top left corner of the map. You need to have the bracelet to move the stone that in front of  the entrance.
