Good to know I wasn't the only one who hated this thing.

But really thanks for doing it.
There are supposedly sword upgrades to be found on the overworld, but I never did find them. There were some fairly obvious burnable bushes, but I lacked a candle, and I didn't feel like bombing every single cliff wall to find one. I did happen upon a red ring though. But the problem...
You wanna know where I hid the swords? I hid them quite good.
And yes the red ring was just a troll, Oh boy! Sorry about that really I thought it was funny xD.
But the red ring you can get it in Classic Level 8 on death mountain.
Good to know I wasn't the only one who hated this thing.
Nice to know you hated it man.

I'd personally like either Origin or Isle of the Winds reviewed. Out of all my quests, those two hold a dear place in my heart. Even over Lost Isle and Hidden Duality. (which seem to be two of my more popular quests, but not so much in my eyes)
I am compelled to inquire as to why this is, if you wouldn't mind opening your own mind to the question, please.

As for Lost Isle, it can get a little long-winded. I literally sigh when I enter a dungeon, because I know I have a good slog ahead of me. Some folks love that, but I don't. Peteo and I made these dungeons the way they are now and there is nothing we can do to change that now. Not without a lot of headache and pain. But if I had to do it over, I'd shrink the dungeons to about 3/4th of their original size. The one thing I feel I did right was the overworld and cave system. The island is thoroughly interconnected and everything seems to logically flow from area to area. But I wish now I gave a 'little' more direction to those players who wanted some. The skull dudes alone were apparently not enough.
Isle of the Winds, in my eyes, is the 'epitome' of what I want a quest to be. Great exploration possibilities. Tons of secrets. Long, but not tedious dungeons, each with a different theme and island to boot. The Master Dome in this quest was one of my best if not the best iteration. The only thing I can't really change that some abhor are the raft paths. You have to 'earn' your freedom of swimming!
As for Origin, its the epitome of my skills as a designer of an entire quest. Not just an overworld and some cave systems. (Lost Isle) Its a quest that can be completed (both 1st and 2nd) within a day and is very easily turned to for a quick Zelda fix without the frustration involved. It just flows smoother than Lost Isle and the gameplay, I feel, shows it.
These are all just my opinions. Some may call me overly critical about myself or my quests, but then again, I have to be. If I didn't overly critique my work, I couldn't perfect it so you get the awesome products you see today.

Since this thread got bumped though, I figured I'd say I'm considering writing a few more reviews in the near future... maybe...
