rereading your help on colors, I noticed that you wrote that the gleeoks have their own set that is independent of the level-independent colorset 9. how do I alter that? I want to change the gleeoks colors and I cannot figure it out. thanks!
---
Go to Quest > Graphics > Palettes > Sprites.
It'll ask you which sprite palette to edit: click '1' A palette will pop up.
Each cset in the palette refers to:
0: Aquamentus
1: Gleeok
2: Digdogger
3: Ganon
4: stunned Ganon
5: Ganon's dust pile after you kill him
6: Link's palette with the blue ring equipped
7: Link's palette with the red ring equipped
8: Link's palette with the gold ring equipped
9: The "select save game" Link icon in the green tunic
10: Icon for the blue ring
11: Icon for the red ring
12: Icon for the gold ring
13: ?
14: ? (not sure about either of those)
There'll be a big button at the bottom left that says "Load to CS 9". If you select cset 1, then click "Load to CS 9", then "Done", you can open up the Tile Editor (Quest > Graphics > Tiles), find your Gleeok tile, then use +/- to scroll through to cset 9. Now you can edit the tiles in the proper colours.

thanks, NoeL!

edit: I also like rice. I prefer white rice. I like it best with some trichomes soaked in at the last chance while the rice is still absorbing water. mmm. also, being the sixth, I must report that my partner in this questmaking adventure was not able to report for duty yesterday. I did a bit of work without him, but I still need to make death scenes before the demo is ready. I'll start as soon as I switch computers. thanks for checking in.

the bombs are a prize for killing some bats.
there will be zero shops in the game, as the plan stands now.
in fact, I plan to use no text at all, so there are fewer language barriers.
Victor, I think you have essentially finished the demo. there's nowhere to bomb or anything like that. I removed the extra flags like the raft stuff. the first post now reflects tomorrow's date for the updated demo file in the link. thanks!

Looks like something the Brothers Chaps would make.

It looks like a pretty cute quest. I like the artstyle and how you're not going to be using text - gives it a unique flavor.
