There's a little secret that not a lot of people know about this quest. Every dungeon is roofless. Link sees this and decides he needs a workout (look at him, he looks like a fatty. He looks like Barney Rubble or something.) So he climbs over all the doors that could walk through anyway. When a room goes dark, it's because it spontaneously turned to night. Or they're all in caves and this one isn't lit.
...he's not very bright.
NNAAHH!!! that's no it! -- is a "bug" or you hiding some dirt!
Am I right??

Why are you trying to make this not funny?
Don't mind him Old-skool, he just has a sense of humor that's very difficult to catch sometimes. As another heads up, if he asks for help, be direct. Subtle hints aren't very clear to him because of a language barrier. You'll get used to it though.
On a slightly different note... back to your quest:
Are you making updates to this quest with the overheads and some of the other small requests it seems people are asking for? I finished it (with lots of stuff), and just wanted to see before doing a review of it. I prefer a version with less kinks in it for a better review for you is why I ask.

1. Magical sword level
2. Power bracelet, if there is one
-----------------------------------------
Update - found the power bracelet, but not the magic sword level. I assume it's on the other side of the "lost hills" in Misery Mountain. Where do I go to find the pattern?
