You know, I'm having a problem with that statement... it's a construct... a building... buildings are often blocky. I CAN do something about this, mainly concerning wall details, detract a bit from the blockiness, while still being like a building...

Sorry, if I'm being stubborn... but I'm not going to change anything concerning water. It looks amazing in ZC, so in the future, I'll just submit shots that don't have it.

Nuvo's was too blocky, and the water was hard to make out-as others have pointed out already.

I meant that the building had too many squares for my taste, not that the construction of the building was too square. Otherwise, it looks pretty cool.

Looks good Nuvo, but too many tiles on the ground. I would be confused playing a quest with those, no offense. I vote LostInHyru1e.

The tiles have been changed to hexagons to break up the monotony... however, hexagons are freakin' hard to work with in ZC... I'm still trying to get them to work... and it takes up 5 vertical tiles to make a pattern, which is making it really difficult

Voted for ZeeLiam.
Why? Classic rules.
I knew he wouldn't win (sorry), but I voted anyway... Basically I voted for Ralph Nader this round. LiH's is too dark and Nuvo's is too busy (but his improved version is awesome; I wish I could've voted for that one instead of his actual entry).

LIH - 7/10
An overall well designed screen. It's complete and well-detailed, and not over the top about it. It is all in good taste. The shadowing is very good too. My vote is cast here.
Nuvo - 7/10
Interesting custom work. I love the walls and the floors, but I am wondering if there is a bit too much contrast with it. Perhaps the whitest of the squares could be very slightly darkened to help them fit in better with the other shades of grey of whatever colors you would call them. The natural portion on the left end looks fantastic. The transition from the trunk of the tree to the ground is perhaps the best I can remember. I wonder what a screen with more of that natural portion would look like. I would love to see a screenshot of a screen adjacent to this one, if it has been done.
ZeeLiam - 5/10
While I have a soft side for classic due to it being part of the driving force of my interest in ZC to begin with, this screenshot is still rather simple for even that. It just can't compete with the other two shots. In addition to that, I am not finding the integrity in it.

I hope SotW is still on. I'm guessing it's Shoelace's week. I just saw his profile and he was last active on August 7th.

Congratulations to Nuvo for placing first in this weeks competition. I'm sorry this is being posted so late, Shoelace has never been late to post a SoTW submission, so I just assumed he would show up later since he lives in a different time zone. Well, I will shortly try to post SoTW 223, make sure you guys submitted your screen to me as well, since Shoelace isn't around.

Pardon, but I do not believe I am the winner the subtitle implies.

Considering I was gone for a bit, I could'nt vote for this poll, but still, I would've voted for Nuvo.
Though I see he has already won the poll for this week. Congratulations Nuvo.
