It was a tough decision between CastChaos and Joe123, but in the end I went with Joe.

Well, third loss in a row for me, I guess I've just lost my edge, if I ever had one.

Majora: The trees on the ice look odd. It looks very much like super mario to me for some reason... probably the ice.

LostInHyrule: I like it... I don't know what else to say.

CastChaos: Well, the symmetry is to be expected as it is simply a building. What I like most is the event occurring in the shot.

Gray0x: When I first saw this, I thought it was a JPEG... but it seems as though you just put a sandstorm over it. Nice. I like how you managed to do the uncovered corner right.

Joe123: Overall, the shot is nice, the only thing I don't like is the epona sprite. Probably because it's a big sprite, and is harder to shade...

Nuvo: Mostly custom work here, it's basically just a prefab base that has been set up over several oil spots. Hence the cave walls, and the plant matter along the floor that's still there. If you see the rest of the base, you'll know that most of the base is pretty much on top of an underground lake. Too bad I couldn't explain that in the shot.

I voted for myself, I think I'm just getting desperate now.

Did it ever occur to anyone that the trees might be... FROZEN? Honestly, do people not try to connect things back to Zelda games? OoT namely. WHY was Zora's Domain frozen over? >_> Was it a "natural" freeze? >_<!

The trees grew THEN froze.

Majora, so the trees grew out from water, which THEN froze? Just because trees grow from soil, but that ice doesn't look like frozen ground... rather like frozen water... which never ever seen any soil even from far away...

Then really... who cares? Maybe there's an island UNDEr the ice?
Or... maybe it really have no particular reason... his game still rocks... and so does his screen.
And no, it's not the screendesign... I'm gonan be honest... it's not awesome in design... really.. but it gives a very special feel, that is just... ''woah''!

Or maybe it's Zelda and it really shouldn't matter. Houses on clouds don't really make sense either, but that didn't stop Minish Cap. Why go for realism anyway? It's Zelda.

About time somebody said that. So there is a tree growng out of ice. Big deal. You guys complain about that being unrealistic, and then go make quests where Link has to rescue a princess from a giant pig or a wind mage using a magic sword. It's Zelda! It's not supposed to be realistic!

I think he meant 'make a quest where Link has to rescue a princess from a giant pig or a wind mage using a magic sword' 3456 times.

3456 isn't a very imaginative number, all the digits are in a row. Hrm.
