Thank you. :) Kakariko Village is a right guess, too! A much smaller version anyways. I updated the picture in the post above with a few other graphics.

Ooh, I'm really liking what you've got going there Sheik. :) Looks simple, functional but also very appealing to the eye. Are you just messing with the set or is this a new project you're planning to take up sometime, if I may ask?

Thanks, Dan. :) For now, I am just messing around with the set. Naturally, I have some ideas what kind of project I would like to work on with the DoR tileset (these just come by messing around, there's no way denying this). However, I don't think this is anything 'serious' at this time.

Double-posting to bring the thread back to the top. I am trying out some tiles. I mainly try to make DoR look more like LttP redrawn in SD3 esque styles (while still keeping it Zelda-y). Here are some new treetops I made by editing some loose tile submission by Revfan. Radien and Robin used these trees too in their DoR tileset projects; however, I wanted a much smaller treetop for what I am attemtpting.

How come every tileset you touch you make it look like gold? :c

It looks really good. All though how the path ends on the northern edge somewhat bothers me and the three exact bunched up cobblestones look odd too. But other than that, it's all good. :)

Thanks. ;) Don't worry about the screen design, I doubt these are 'actual' screens. Anyways, I worked on water (and on the palette):Posted Image

God man, the water! It's perfection. ;-;

The mountain still looks wrong though, where you tried to conjoin them.

Thanks. Also, I know it looks funky, but that's how the mountains work. It will have to do for now. Anyways, map-time:Posted Image
EDIT: Fixed a few issues, changed a few graphics again.

Wow. I hate you! :P

It's wonderfully done. Better than I could ever make.

A few things, however.

- The waterfall is unfitting. Maybe try recoloring the one that comes in the DoR dungeon sets? I think it's from SD3.

You see the bottom grass tile? If you put the sand tile (The one on the bottom), it looks better. That's how I do it. :)

Also, where do you exit the town? :P

The SD3 waterfalls don't work with this mountain perspective. Thanks for the sand-mountain tile tip. I will try it out.
Edit: It's just a test map for placing down tiles.

i think that waterfall looks awesome! where's it from?
the only thing i find odd about the waterfall, that's a lot of water to just go into a little pool. maybe a wall around the pool would suggest that the villagers dammed what was once a stream from the waterfall to the water below.

The waterfall graphics are from the Minish Cap. Thank you for the comment!
