[The Satellite]

Volga is laughably OP, kind of like Ganondorf was. Wizzro I can see potential strategy for and can totally see him become the favorite of more than a handful of players, but his style doesn't suit me. Cia is alright I guess. I've also messed with the new adventure mode map, and so far I think I like it more than the regular adventure mode map, the additional variety, even if minimum, adds to the enjoyment.

 

Anyway, whose people's favorites to play as so far? Mine without a doubt have to be Lana with her tome and Zelda with her rapier, very fun, quick, good at clearing crowds, and totally adorable to boot.

My top 3 favorites:

3) Impa, Giant Blade/Naginata: I'm unsure which weapon I prefer. All I know, is that her abilities are incredibly useful if done right, and they're made even better with dodge cancelling.

2) Volga: What can I say? I'm a sucker for Lu Bu characters.

1) Zant: He's sort of like Volga, with the added problem of his stamina bar. I could argue that I like Volga more, but come on, it's Zant.

 

My top 3 least favorites:

3) Lana, Spear: I don't see the appeal in this one. The Musou doesn't hit too many enemies, and it doesn't kill much either. I just find this weapon to be really weak overall.

2) Ghirahim: I wanted to like him, however, his attack pattern is something I cannot get used to.

1) Ganondorf: He's suppose to be a Lu Bu character, but he's just way too slow for me. His attacks leave him way too open, meaning one wrong move, and your A Rank is gone.

So far, my favorite character is Lana with her tome followed by Link with his Sword. Both quickly clear large crowds of enemies and are decently powerful against individual enemies as well as having good specials. And besides, is there anything more epic than running over enemies on a giant cube?

Currently, Link with the Master Sword and Ganondorf with Swords of Despair. I prefer Link just a little more, as Ganondorf is too open for attacks resulting in getting hit quite a lot.

 

I haven't tried Volga. But me thinks I will have a good time with him. Once I get back my Wii U. >_>

Well, really, Cia Volga and Wizzro are a patch. It's technically FreeLC, though.

Welp, got the free stuff. Then caved in and bought the big old bucket of everything DLC just like I did for MK8. It seems I can only be a cheapskate or a total sucker.

So I've been rather interested in making a Hyrule Warriors tier list for the last couple of days. It would be based off of:

-How many kills a character can get in a short amount of time.

-How fast a character can complete a battle.

-How little damage the characters take.

The Twilight Princess pack is out. Link + Postman's Outfit + Spinner (From my Link Amiibo) is perfect.

I'm kind of disappointed at the annoying difficulty of the first couple stages of the new adventure mode map. The first was easy, sure, but the second one was quite annoying due to the high level of health the enemies had, and the third... no game, it's not fair to throw two Gohmas at you in the same keep at the same time if you're not quick enough. I dunno, I'll go back to it, but this was just annoying.

 

I haven't tried Twili Midna or the spinner yet, but the Dominion Rod... good Lord, yes, this weapon is so amazing I can't believe it. As if Zelda wasn't already amazing to play as. As for the costumes... the Postman one is kinda goofy, meanwhile the Ilia costume for Zelda just kinda scares me. It looks... completely unnatural, and I'm not talking about the ears, since Ilia's were rounded. But at least they're optional.

 

I haven't even completed the original Adventure Mode map or gotten very far in the Master Quest map. Perhaps I should try for those before coming back to the Twilight Princess map. But Smash...

I feel the same way, TS. I haven't even finished half of the first Adventure Map either. And we still have Smash, Pokemon...jeez Nintendo!!

Aonuma lied to us. Tingle just looks... weird. But I'm okay with Young Link, he'll be fun to play and is totally adorable, and Fierce Deity Link will be pretty badass. A bit disappointed that Skull Kid is relegated to just a costume for... someone, my guess is Ghirahim, which'll be hilarious, and I wonder what the Sheik and Impa costumes will be, but they're likely just more lazy recolors. Either way, hopefully this pack's Adventure Mode map will be more fun than Twilight Princess's.
