Is it me, or does he sorta have Gold/Ethan's old back pose (from GBC Era)?

They now have a larger Isshu map over at Serebii. Apparently, there's an airport there, so we may very well be able to do inter-region travel. My bet is it being Hoenn if it's true, to give them an excuse not to remake Emerald.

See that castle at the top left, partially covered by clouds? What do you wanna bet that that's where the Elite Four are? Either that, or the building on top of the cliffs at the top right.

Even more images for these were just put on Serebii! I literally just went there to check the Pokédex for something. Anyway, the field looks great. It also seems that the grass has returned to separate patches, instead of being one connected entity, like in HG/SS. Not that it's really important, but I just happened to notice . I'd rather have it connected myself, like real grass, but meh.

New update people!


Release date is set for a september 18 release 2010 in Japan. I'm thinking on importing though. I'm not going to wait a full year to play these games. Nintendo always makes us wait soo damn long for Pokemon games.

I'll just wait for it. To be honest, I'm not nearly as psyched for these as I was for HG/SS. I can wait until spring. My only complaint is that by the time I get the games, every single detail of them will have been posted here, and there'll be no surprise for me.

I've tried to play the Pokemon games in Japanese, but eh, it doesn't work out well. You're better off just waiting.

The map makes me VERY happy, because it looks like we're getting a ton of really cool areas (the desert!); something beyond just a simple "route". It looks like they're really trying out some wonderful new things, let's just hope that they are for the best!

TRIPLE BATTLES !? Commanding 2 Pokémon separately is already a lot of work, but now 3 AT A TIME? Jeez, this gets more interesting with every release . I need to hurry and get a new DS!

Everything about this game is epic. You should wait until the DSi/XL price cuts arrive in America for the holiday or something then buy a DS.

But I want to be able to play GBA games with it, and migrate from FireRed .

About the triple battles, my guess is we can now have 3 trainers vs 3 trainers, for a chaotic clash! Imagine the WiFi Battle Videos with 6 trainers in an all out Lv. 100 Legend Clash, or when ALL 6 OF THEM send out the same legends .

Triple battles are amazing. The 3D graphics are amazing. All the new Pokemon (except one, the top right one in the double battle) are horribly ugly. So I've got mixed feelings.

I think triple battles are pushing it. Double battles are okay, but eventually, we'll all just be using all six at once! It kind of puts me off from the game a bit.
