Been working on AR3 again (it's cancelled btw), and I managed to finish up the present overworld!

Feels good to have that done, but that's only like a quarter of the way. Now it's time to get the underwater parts done, and then it's time for the past overworld (and that underwater part too). After that, gotta go back and place all the secrets and heart pieces down, then it's time to finish the game.

Started working again on my desert dungeon. I've worked out the overall target size of the dungeon and realized this thing isn't even half-done.

In total, the dungeon will be 80 screens in size, where the first floor has 20 rooms left and the basement (not shown in this image) needs 22 more rooms. The top left portion of this floor won't be relying so heavily on quicksand, so don't worry about all of the larger rooms feeling samey. Other than that, I think this is coming out great so far!

Opened up a project page for a tileset in progress. Also while not today, I finished a quest update.

Doing more AR3 stuff today. Managed to get a warp zone done for the present age of the overworld, in a similar way to how Lost Isle did its warp zone (except without bombing tiles every time). Hopefully that would make up for the lack of whistle whirlwinds and make travel easier later on in the quest. Now gotta get the underwater segments of the overworld done, and then I can begin finishing the past age of the overworld and do something similar there as well.

Made Harpy sprites, made Kobalai sprites, made Charon sprites. I made Spartoi and Shade sprites the other day.

Just started on Prometheus sprites.

The final level's main structure is about 85% done! Blueprints for the final boss are being made! The end is near!

Almost finished with level 1. Need to make a secret room, about 7 enemies for the first area and two boss battles.

And the progress keeps on coming. Completed the past age of the overworld today! All that's left now is to get the underwater segments of it finished and then I can move on to adding in Heart Pieces and other sidequests.
