The red block in MegaCity museum is behind the second bombable wall. Looks like you missed that one (from the museum entrance, go one screen up, one left and one up and bomb the cracked part).

And the NW room on Floor 2 in the Factory... Damn, that is indeed a silly mistake by me. So you can call it a bug/glitch. icon_sweat.gif

I have to check out that "J, mountains" bug right now. *Opens up ZC*

EDIT - Hmm... weird, the J, Mountains stairs work just fine. After you exit the cave, you are on ground and cannot reach the cave like you said you did. icon_shrug.gif Are you sure J entrance is the one you're talking about?

Oh, and in the north of powered up MegaCity there is one door saying "Nothing", but actually you can get 20 Zens there after you beat m/s Mariel and the folks from the ship have reached home.

How strange. For me, I get stuck in the wall.

Museum thing: wow, I'm unobservant. Should have seen that. I'll check it out and add it to the map soon.

Mega City thing: Understandable, since I never checked the houses a second time. Pretty nice trick though. Even if the 20 Zens doesn't matter much, it adds some nice realism to the quest. That's actually one of my favorite parts of the game as a whole. From the "Feck Off" graffiti on that one building in Mega City, to the dialogue of Ian the ghost in the Lost village, to the message from the computer in the ? Dome, everything seems so realistic and deep. You have truly created a believeable environment in this quest.

All sucking up aside, I'd like to ask some more private questions, so I'll send a PM.

I can't understand how that bug occurs for you. Where did you download your MMDWR DC and what ZC player are you using? I took a look at the quest file yesterday and in my opinion everything is set correctly. But I guess I have to try that bug myself by actually playing the quest...

Oh and your lenghty PM... very NICE. I will read it through again and tell you what I think.

I had that happen to me too...I just continued and was brought right infront of the cave. I use 183 has told and got it from....well, here.
Nothing major, just continuing fixes this bug.

Dang... you guys are correct. It is a bug. But THANK GOD it's not a serious bug even though it prevents you from going to the mountain area 2... but since there's nothing important there, it's no big deal. Phew. icon_smile.gif

Map Update: Maps of Dragon's Lair (Level 7) have been added to the list of URLs a page back. As always, do not look at them if you want to beat the level yourself or if you don't want to see what it looks like. Also, the map for Mega City Museum has been edited to fix a minor error and include a screen I missed earlier.

Research Laboratory and the various numbered Labs that go with it will be added whenever I finish the level.

Oh no! Unknown Dome is level four?
Maybe that's why it's so difficult for me.

Where's level three?

The map titles should have answered that for you. It's the m/s Mariel - a large ship. You can find it docked at the Mega City Harbor, which you reach from the SE part of the overworld.

On another note, I was going to just edit my last post to put these in, but since I had to post again anyway, here they are. Proof that Petoe had to cram everything in the quest together extremely closely to make it a decent file size. Overworld layers in the same map as the Dragon's Lair basement?

In case you're wondering, I do this kind of crap all the time. If there is any way to leave the screen (in this case, by walking through lava), I usually do it, just to see what stuff I can find.

That's interesting, Jish.

I fill empty screens with one-tic time warps back to the beginning of a level,
so you wouldn't find much in a quest by me.

Now Jish revealed my big secret... well it's not a secret really, but yeah, that's how I keep my quest files as small as possible and people who download them happy.

Just be careful not to corrupt the quest save file while screwing around like that, Jish. icon_wink.gif

Oh, no no no no!

Now I know you don't keep the layers of the research lab in the Lab sewers correct? That's not as bad but layer's for the overworld in the Dragon's lair's basement? That's pretty interesting.

Also, was that error "Bug" a real bug if you lose to the level 3 mini boss. The Burning oven?

"Error bug"? Oh, you mean you got the "An Error Has Occurred" sign after you died in the flames of level 3 mini-boss? If that's it, then it's a real continue bug, not some silly joke I made to annoy players.

It's wierd to see this on topic because I was just playing MMDWR and got that error message when I died on that boss...
right before I head-butted my monitor and got my head full of glass.

Ya' know, the difficuty of your quest is causing me physical harm.
icon_eyebrow.gif

Okay, I'm kidding. But it is difficult;
I have 90 deaths already.

Well, there's not really much point to this post icon_sweat.gif .

Let me just say, Jish, you're doing an awesome job with the maps and guides.

Because I don't think I'd finish this quest without your help,
I want to say that I really appreciate the effort you're putting in to all this.
Keep up the good work icon_biggrin.gif .

Just curious because it had a blue look on it with a neat message thus making it look like MM overheated (Or in this case X but..) and is his error.
Never had this happened before...only in this quest.

Difficult shoelace? It only gets worse Shoe. Level 5 is annoying at first. Make sure you went to the mines! It "slows" down a bit at level 8 but until then, it keeps on getting harder which means Level 7 is the hardest thing on earth.

Level 7 the hardest? There are lots of those freaking pits but other than that it's not that bad. In my opinionthe hardest one is level 6. Now don't get me wrong, I love that level but it is huge as hell and some of the keys are very hard to get.

BTW is this thread HUGE or what? icon_smile.gif
