My mains:
Smash 64: Link (I've won so many hard matchups with Link. My Link is just nasty)
Melee: Marth
Brawl: Link
Project M: Roy, Link, Marth
Smash 4: Marth and Link most likely
So there's my lineup so far.

Re Link: I don't see the problem with his speed, honestly. If anything, it's a tradeoff for his heavy hitting at worst. I don't think he's that slow, he's far from one of the slowest characters in the game I think, and besides, Link's not exactly remembered for being a fast character.
Competitively he's pretty bad in Brawl unfortunately, which is why he needs a major buff along with Zelda and Ganondorf if he's still in.
This should sum things up.
(From Smashwiki)
Link is currently ranked 35th in the Low Tier. Link is equipped with a useful DACUS that helps his mobility, as well as some camping ability, some of the best overall reach in his attacks, great momentum cancelling and the third best potential vertical endurance, and many KO moves. Like his Melee incarnation, he still has plenty of projectiles, all of which can be useful at different times. Despite his projectiles and large number of advanced techniques, however, Link in general has poor mobility due to poor dashing speed, air speed, and jumping ability, poor out of shield options, one of the worst aerial games, and sluggish moves in general (his fastest ground attack, jab, has a startup lag of 7 frames, and fastest aerial, back aerial, is 6 frames). The most crippling flaw of Link is his recovery, that has been heavily nerfed from Melee to one of the worst recoveries in Brawl, and often prevents him from fulfilling his amazing endurance potential; Spin Attack scarcely gives him any horizontal distance (and barely any without prior momentum), his bombs are less effective for recovery, and his hookshot can no longer wall grapple. This has resulted in very poor match-ups against most characters, and terrible tournament results.
I like using Link, but even I can't say he's good in Brawl unfortunately..

SSB 64: Link
SSB Melee: Link
SSB Brawl: Link, Toon Link, Kirby, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Meta Knight, Pit, R.O.B, Mr. Game and Watch
Yeah, I became more open for alternative characters to battle with when brawl was a thing. ![]()

Wait, for real? I never even noticed... yeah that does suck and I hope it gets restored in 4. Otherwise the rest of that doesn't really bother me. I don't really play competitively anyway.

My best characters:
64: Fox
Melee: Samus
Brawl: Wolf/Lucas
My favorite characters:
64: Captain Falcon, Jigglypuff, Kirby
Melee: Roy, Bowser, MewTwo
Brawl: King DeDeDe, Rob, Bowser

My main characters:
SSB64: Link and Samus.
SSBM: Link, Young Link, C Falcon and Samus.
SSBB: Toon Link (Way better than link to me, Aka: Toon Link has a real boomerang), Samus, Fox, Rob and Ike.
I can't really play SSB(1, 2 or 3) competitively (Nobody to fight) , But maybe SSB4 Will have an online mode... And maybe it won't lag like it did in SSBB..

Good news, Coolgamer! Online mode confirmed for both versions of SSB4. We should totally have official PureZC tournaments once it comes out. The lag will just depend on your internet connection...

I'm up for that kind of thing.

Yay.
I also second the PZC tournaments idea.

Tournaments could be cool, but I definitely don't play competitively, so I don't stand a chance against some of the better members here. But I do enjoy Smash Bros. I'd only be able to play on the 3DS version, but if anybody wants to organize PureZC matches for it, I'm game.

I could probably do that. I'll most likely be getting the 3DS version when it comes out.

I guess I should add that in my limited experience with Project M, I liked Ness and Ivysaur. I wasn't really a fan of what they did to Lucas ...
For Smash 4, I definitely intend to try out Mega Man and Villager.

Does anyone know of an easy way to fix the shoulder buttons on the 3DS? It's going to be a pain playing this game if I have to blow my 3DS's L button every few minutes in order for it to function...
