Other than SAOII and Barakamon on Saturdays, I haven't actually been watching any anime, though I'd been meaning to start Fate/Zero. Maybe next week when I find some time. But that's not why I'm here, I'm here for this:

I know Digimon is ages ago in the past and may not have aged well for all I know, but I'm more than a little psyched. Guess I'll have to rewatch the other two Adventure series before next Spring in order to be properly prepared. Now it may suck, who knows, and so might the older series and my childhood nostalgia's getting in the way of any negative recollections, but I'm gonna watch it for the heck of it. And for the nostalgia. :heh:

Well, I finished Wolf's Rain the other day. It's been awhile since an anime made me cry.

Now, I'm probably going to re-watch Cowboy Bebop, since it's been forever.

I recently watched Magical Sisters Yoyo and Nene, which was pretty decent.  (This is what my current avatar is from.) It's a kid's movie, so definitely nothing revolutionary or too deep, but it was fun and actually had a few emotional parts.  Definitely a good watch for anyone who enjoys things like Disney movies and Miyazaki movies like Ponyo and Spirited Away.

I totally didn't watch it just because it was done by my favorite animation studio, no.

Just finished Cromartie Highschool.

While I think the series ended a little too abruptly, that doesn't deny the fact that this is probably one of the funniest dubbed animes I have ever seen.

Big O's ending made some sense to me this time around. I suppose it might be because I'm so much older.

Yeah fate/zero is pretty sweet, watched it on netflix. Its more action oriented than fate/stay night and doesn't have that typical harem  guy doesn't relize it atmosphere

Digimon's japanese version is very good, every 4kids or other horrible dubbing companies, don't let the anime they showed get you down. I know people won't have the same interest as me but japanse yugioh was good.

The best part of the japanse version is they have cool music, and no cheesy jokes

If you want a short, hilarious anime, watch ninja nonsense, you will laugh till you can't breathe

Weekly I watch HunterxHunter 2011 yet at this rate it looks like its gonna stop airing coz the author takes so many breaks with the manga...the last story arc before the current one actually had a very powerful ending...near made me cry, which NEVER happens to me. Other than that im watching Yu Yu Hakusho in Japanese with english subs... almost done with that one.

Been watching attack on titan so I can compare it to the manga. Like how they adapted it to television. Not sure I like Dixons voice actor though...

Dixon? Who? And as a side note, sub or dub?

Watching Kaiba for the third time. It might just be my favorite anime of all time, but it's not exactly easy watching. I understand more and more of the story every time, so in a sense it feels new with every watch.

I'm probably getting ahead of myself considering the thread is "What Anime are You Watching" and not "What Anime are You Going to Watch" but...

I watched the first episode of Attack on Titan yesterday to see what the fuss was about, and I can say that I'm intrigued. It opened on a pretty powerful note...

I must say, though, that the titans - with the exception of the big flayed guy - look pretty ridiculous. I'm not threatened by them AT ALL.

Of course not, they're just animated. chansub-global-emoticon-ddc6e3a8732cb50f

On my end, have been very slowly rewatching Kill la Kill when I have time, and had been keeping up with Barakamon and SAOII on the side. The latter has begun to suck, but I really shouldn't be surprised. The former, however, was pretty good. And over, unfortunately. I think the manga or light novel or whichever it was adapted from is still going, so I can hold out hope there'll be more anime later, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen. It was a cute, funny, and very "real" kind of show. I enjoyed it.

There are two upcoming shows this week I'll be getting into. One is a new Studio Trigger anime that may or may not be good and I might end up dropping, but thought I'd check out for the heck of it because Trigger. It's called... um... ya know, it keeps changing titles. Its Japanese name is "Inō-Battle wa Nichijō-kei no Naka de," and apparently was originally "officially" translated as "Inou-Battle in the Usually Daze," but later had the name "Inou Battle Within Everyday Life," and now has the name "When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace." So I'm very confused. I dunno. We'll see how that goes come Monday.

The other is Log Horizon season two, which needs no explanation. That'll be on Saturdays along with SAOII, so it'll be interesting to be watching two shows about virtual reality MMOs back to back, starting with the shitty one (SAO) and moving on to the pretty good one (Log Horizon). :heh:

A good story's villains/monsters are threatening, regardless if it's animated or not.
