Finally finished level 3. Love this game.

Thought for a while level 3 was going to make me go insane.

Now trying to figure out level 4. Slightly confused on the ghosts clue of looking for the green. Both warps i can access take me to the side-scrolling caves throughout the area.

can anyone give me any hints?

By the way:

5 our of 5 so far for me on this game.

Also, I just read that I need to go to the dead hills before lv 4. How can I get to them. I do not think that I have been to them yet?

To Dead Hills: In Prince Sound where you start out at, go in that cave (Apathy Pass) go up, go left go down. That will take you to Palacades. The screen you need to find is the one that a chicken is on and there is a place you can go up on the left of the chicken now go left by the skull on the ground.

I got the boots there: Now i am trying to fiugre out level 4. Still can not figure out the ghosts clue. Have been able to get through some of the map, and have at least one key that i can use to get either the next quiver or magic/magic upgrade (not sure which it is). I have also beaten the spider and gotten the boss key but can not open the boss door that is bluish near the beginning of he level. I have gotten the gloves in the one side scrolling level but now i am stuck. i have not saved it at that point, but have it saved at beginning of the level just in case i messed up.

I think I shot this crystal with the silver arrow?

Stuck in level 3... got a key, but where to use it? The only closed door doesn't open

The magic (blue) boomerang is in the North West corner.

Ok, but I can not find the silver arrow. I have killed every enemy in every room i can, bombed every wall i can, whistled everywhere, and tried every chest i can get to and no silver arrow.

yes i have. I see a door at the bottom of the bottom of the room that won't open. I have the boss key, map, and compass. I can even get the magic upgrade or the next quiver. But that is as far as I can go right now.


edit: Still having trouble with this level. I can not get anywhere. This is a game killer i if i can not figure this out. Still have not figured out the ghosts hint, or where the silver arrow is, or how to open the in the blueish boss door in the room with the ghost. I have been at this for days. Can someone please help me? I really would love to finish this game.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
You have to drop down from this screen but from the left side.

Go down the stairs in the picture, go right one screen bomb the bottom wall a little to the right of the center. Now follow around until you come to the door going up. You can hit the crystal there with your sword to lower those blocks on the left. Now go up, go up, take left stairs, go right kill enemies when floor on the right disappears drop down. Now kill the enemies and then push middle block, go down now go through the left bottom skull then takes stairs. Go left, keep going across until you can go up again. Now go through the bottom left skull. Now your in the room you started in but on the left side drop down. You need to take a key with you for the chest.

From this picture you go through the skull then take the stairs on the right. There is a spot you can jump up and then go right that takes you to the boss area. Am pretty sure you can find your way after that.

I am still having trouble with this level (level 4). I have bombed everything, whistled everywhere, boomeranged, shot arrows, etc... I have even killed every enemy on every screen. I still can not find the Silver Arrow, figure out the ghosts clue, or open the bluish boss door. The one room that I believe may hold something is the one that is filled with lava and has the bird at the far end, with the two fairies right after you go through the hole by the door that does not open. Can anyone help me please. I have not been able to get anywhere for over a week and I really really want to finish this amazing game.

Maybe my pics didn't show, so...

I went to Zora Meadows and into the place with the water and switches. After the third switch and hookshotting over the water there is a room with some stairs. When I go down these stairs I am trapped in a wall in some passageway.

I went and replayed level 4.
That room that is filled with lava and has the bird at the far end, with the two fairies, there isn't anything to do there. That ghosts clue refers to where you found the glove.
To get the silver arrow.

Spoiler

Take the red warp go across when you come out go up open the door and go up now bomb the top wall in the right corner. Kill enemy and then take the stairs, go up on the left side now you have to push the block on the left side of it to open the door on the right. Take the door. You have to go up but you will need a key. (You can bomb the bottom wall and go down, there is a key down that way.) After going through the key door kill enemy and take stairs, go left, go up kill enemies and get silver arrow.

To open the boss door refer to post #406.

Thanks a Bunch Artistic!! I owe you one. I know I bombed that wall 3 or 4 times. I guess I must have not have been lined up enough onto where it was needed.

I believe the key is in the meadows where I don't remember. Sorry! Have you tried killing every enemy on every screen in the meadows? Also walk behind every big tree you can and waterfall.
