Having it unpassworded would be nice to look around and see how it was done.
Then again, the dungeon tiles are really nice.
But I think I'd rather learn something from openning the quest than get a few pretty tiles.

Anyone with some basic coloring knowledge can make Pure look good, really. The default palettes aren't really all that good, in my opinion, but that, like anything else, can be fixed. Just a little patience(which is something I lack) is all you need.

Hey.

...Anyone here ever play Mother 3? I've been freakin' obsessed with it since the first time I've played.

MOTHER 3!!!!

It's one of my favorite games ever, and definitely my favorite RPG.

What chapter are you on? Or have you finished it?

Finished it. It's a wonderful game, and I really don't understand why an English version was never 'officially' made. It'd sell millions of copies.

I know we had a thread on it here a while ago, when it came out.

I think they didn't make an English version because EarthBound didn't sale well in America, and they're afraid Mother 3 wouldn't sale either.

Speaking of Tilesets. I'm in the process of making a more 3D-ish classic set. Using Pure and DOR palettes for referencing. The tileset uses too many colors for it to not be in 8-bit mode. I'll let you know how this goes. and by 3D-ish, I mean High color and as realistic as I can possibly do.

I'll release the tileset if it goes well, along with the SVG files I used for rendering the tiles for when ZC becomes a higher definition/allows for higher definition(scoff now.)

You've already got me in love with the idea.

Can you post a screenshot? Please.

No, because I'm still drawing the tiles, making the palettes, and stuff. I didn't import anything in yet.

What isn't it about? It's about superheroes that are all at once less than and more than their archetype... that's the best way that I can sum it up in a single sentence. Basically, one of a retired group of masked vigilantes is murdered, and the plot thickens as the world is thrown closer to the brink of nuclear war by a series of seemingly unrelated incidents. Also Nixon is running for a fifth term.

Is that where you got your avatar from?

I want to watch it, and most likely will. I have to-I'm reviewing it for the school paper...

Yep, I culled this out of the graphic novel.

Interesting that you should note you're doing a review- I write for the student section of my city's newspaper, and I'm doing a review for the movie there.
