I'm not sure about the pits, I kinda want something that looks more natural, but I can't seem to get anything that looks good.

You could make the pits connect to eachother, or replace them with spiky roots or similar objects.

Finished a first version of the Earth Temple entrance, you'll notice on the right it's all water up the stairs that's because this temple has 2 parts, one is not accessed until much later in the game once you have zora's scale !

I decided to take a break from the large and difficult lost woods to bring in more new tiles and star a couple new places, have the entrance to Zora's Domain, and the just added area Ice cavern (wanted to make the game bigger than originally planned) !

Looking good, Jay. One complaint I have is that there's a bit too much stuff on the ice in the ice cavern screen in my opinion.

This complaint isn't really valid anymore because 2.5 introduced a rule that allows you to use items on the edges of the screen.

I think it still disrupts the flow of the screen. Didn't you mention somewhere in this thread that screen flow really helps design and gameplay?

I believe I made a comment about fully solid combos, not slashables. I can still see how slashables so close to the edge of the screen breaks flow, but it's not for the reasons given by NoeL.
