Don't worry too much about being color blind.

The tree is already the correct color, so you know that it is brown, just use the same colors that are on the sprite and you will be fine. The colors in your palette structure won't change (unless you edit them, of course) so when you where the colors are you will be fine using them and you don't have to blame your colorblindness. I hope that made sense.

The tree overall is fine. I would change parts here and there If i wanted to refine it/perfect it, but it's nothing to worry about.

That's a sound way of looking at it, thanks ! I am inclined to agree with the part of not worrying about it though, if I try to perfect every little tile in the set I'll go insane ! I also haven't the time to, but I do what I can to make it the best I can with the time I have, which is why I like to post a lot if screens so others can help me improve upon The set and quest.

I stopped making quests in color and it helps a lot. You probably don't want to do that but it sure makes designing a lot easier.

I definitely don't want to go black and white, That would take all the fun out of it. Also I do not like black and white, ironic for someone who is color blind I know !

So still working on lost woods, and I though this one turned out pretty interesting ! I want ruins to be a part of the lost woods, a sacred grove like part. This would be I guess where you enter it.

That's just because of the shading I thought ? Only in the shade they looked orange! They are coloured into Cset 2 which I assure you has no orange colors :S glad you love the screen though !

That screen, the tiles, the overall design, and the palette all look fantastic Jay! I think the only criticism I can think of is that the white on the signpost is kinda jarring compared to the rest of the screen.

I also laughed when I realized I was being messed with so it's alright.

I almost started to feel bad when I started laughing as I read through that. Keyword being "almost". My dad is partially colorblind, and it's fun to occasionally mess with him.

Anyways, I really like the way your screens look. I can't wait to see how they look in-game instead of just as screenshots.
