I've been playing through Pokemon Diamond again and now playing through Red on 3DS. I have to say the original doesn't let you just walk all over it like later games do, especially not if you start with Charmander.

Well, I've recently restarted the Zelda franchise, and I'm currently working on Link's Awakening.

However, I'm also replaying Super Mario 64, and when I'm not playing anything, I'm working on my quest.

Have you already played Rondo of Blood, Dracula X (Rondo of Blood's inferior SNES port), Castlevania Chronicles, or Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth? Because if not, there's four more for you.

There are still a few more Classicvania games that I have yet to play, but after I play them, it'll be very unlikely that I'll ever play a new one, which kinda makes me sad... I'll try the newer games eventually, and I'm sure I'll enjoy them to some regard, but I can say right now that I'll prefer the design of the original games better.

So I *think* I've 100%ed ALBW, but there's one empty space in my item grid?

Not sure why I'm hiding this due to a three-year-old game but

Oh. You're at that fight. Damn that fight. There's a pattern to it, though I can't recall it off the top of my head.

So I'm assuming there's nothing really much you can do wih 3DS play coins. I mean I get puzzle pieces in street pass and there's hint ghosts in ALBW, but.... yeah

Well, they're useful in streetpass games too. I do think it would've been cool if the 3DS had an arcade cabinet you could download that used playcoins for tokens.

Doing my usual practicing in Smash, and playing Wario Land 2 as well. Thinking about starting over in Pokemon X soon and not using breeding or wondertrading at all.

So I finally picked up Hyrule Warriors and started playing it, and my god I'm already addicted. Currently trying to get through Legacy Mode, and then I'll probably go through Adventure or Free mode. But yeah, from what I'm playing so far, this is really fun. It feels really satisfying to smash through hordes of enemies like this lol.

A few things I've noticed though is that the game does seem to have a slight lag when too many enemies all in one spot. Thankfully it's not too bad, but it can be noticeable sometimes. Another thing is that I noticed a delay in the notifications (or whatever they're supposed to be). Like say you just captured a keep, sometimes you get a message saying "capture this keep!" when you've already done it. Would be cool if the game could skip ahead depending on what you've done already, but ah well it's a minor thing.

Other than that though, I'm having a blast with this, and I'm looking forward to finishing this off soon.

Edit: I regret leaving this game on my shelf for like a year or so, I really should've started playing this as soon as I got it lol

Playing through Red on 3DS, I forgot how horrible the item storage system is.

Been playing Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse like crazy since it came out.  I already have 71 hours on it, and I'm farming my way through Twisted Tokyo.  Sucks that you have to start a New Game+ in order to fuse Satan on your team...

Interesting, in Pokemon Red 3DS, the dialogue for a NPC and letter in Saffron is switched.

EDIT: Also, Red/Ash/the player must be a Pokemon since he can hear the PokeFlute. One of the NPCs says only Pokemon can hear it.

Was/is it possible to register the bicycle to Select in Pokemon Red? I seem to remember doing so, but I might be remembering a later game instead.
