Japanese limited edition looks more involved.  Japan gets all the best stuff.

Here's a joke both SSB4 and HW fans can appreciate:

Observations:

1. Lana is badass.

2. The Magic Rod is even more badass.

3. The soundtrack is more badass than both combined.

However even on Hard Mode the game just doesn't stay very challenging, unless for some reason my difficulty selection didn't seem to stick. I've only beaten one more level and played around with other characters in free mode, but I've gotten a feel for it, and basically so far, this isn't a game you play for the challenge.

This is a game you play to feel badass.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

At first I wondered why multiplayer only supports one player on gamepad and one on the tv, then I realized that split-screen of this game would probably cause you're Wii U to explode.

I haven't gotten very far in story mode yet, but from what I can tell, this game is amazing.

Except it wouldn't make it explode, there's another Warriors game on the Wii U, and it has splitscreen. Funnily enough, if I recall correctly, you don't lose quality from playing multiplayer in that game.

It is more resource intensive to display the game on the gamepad and the tv simultaneously, the only reason they did it is to keep the 2 screens clutter free as 2 HUDs on the one screen is probably not good and might make things confusing. The issue I have with it is you can not screen cheat to enhance your perception of where your friend is and what they're doing... so you can't help them as easily as you otherwise could.

Progressing more in the game. The story is actually pretty well done! Sure, some of it is cliche, but some of it had my jaw drop, just like any other Zelda game. I thought that was nice.

Am I the only one having a really hard time with Adventure Mode? Its so hard...especially with the bosses that spring up during your objectives.

Don't worry, Jared, a lot of the Warriors series has cliche story lines, but I think that's somewhat of the appeal. It's pretty hilarious seeing dramatized storylines. :3

So after saying I wasn't going to get it right away, I ended up trading in Titanfall and picking up Hyrule Warriors on Sunday. The game is pretty fun so far, and I kind of feel similarly to when I used to play Star Wars Battlefront, in that its a game I can see myself picking up and just playing a few scenarios even after I've beaten it. I plan on giving Adventure Mode a spin soon. I'm currently through the first 3 areas in Legend mode.

On the ones that require you just to kill a certain number of enemies, I just ignore the boss(in one case, bosses.) They will slowly follow you around, but aren't required to be killed for that objective.

I've been working on both Legend and Adventure mode about equally.

Yeah, my hard mode selection didn't stick for some reason. Probably a good thing as the game did indeed decide to step up on its difficulty a little. I'm getting a little further and finding myself mostly enjoying it though getting really annoyed at the escort segments, the programming for the person you're escorting is downright terrible; I've seen them get halfway there only to turn around and attack someone, or even run off the path to attack an enemy. It's terrible. So's whoever voices Midna and Fi, they sound like crap compared to their original portrayals, also that Proxi voice is infinitely worse than Navi's.

Otherwise figuring out the combos and stuff is really fun and I think Lana with the tome is easily my favorite to play as so far.

Finished Legend Mode. Thought it was nice. Quite a great final battle, too!

Now to do Adventure Mode. *Shudders*
