I'm on a bit of an RPG kick right now. I'm playing Chrono Trigger, Earthbound and the GBA port of Final Fantasy VI simultaneously. I'm making the most progress in Earthbound because I'm on my third or fourth time through. Chrono Trigger, on the other hand, is a new game for me.

Oh Chrono trigger...Thats one of the best Super Nintendo Rpgs I've played. (well next to Earthbound, and Mystic Ark)
Chrono trigger was the first rpg I've ever played. I still remember one of the annoying boss's in it "The son of sun"...The name is kinda right If I'm right?. Oh well but anyways Great game.

Right now though I've Been trying to find a game I want to play but really having a hard time finding one I want to play.
I've been thinking of starting Orcarina of time. one more time to try and beat it for my fist time...yeah I've not beaten the game yet...

I played through Mother 3 on my laptop. Never quite finished it, though. Hard drive needed reset from a virus when I was near the end of New Pork City.

I actually really liked Mother 3, but I could never quite get into Earthbound or Earthbound Zero/Mother 1. Mainly, I'm not quite patient enough for the old-school menus. I much prefer just being able to hit "A" in front of something and have the game know if I'm trying to talk to a person or open a door. I doubt it, but is there a hack that does that to the game, rather than having to go through the "Talk, Item, Check, etc." menu every time I need to talk to an NPC?

By the way, Ventus, I'll warn you now. If you're going to play Ocarina of Time, unless you have a USB controller, don't try to play it on an emulator. It is impossible to get the precision aim with first-person type weapons like the bow or slingshot that you'll need for some of the puzzles. I made that mistake emulating Majora's Mask, and have never been able to beat the first dungeon, where you have to shoot an arrow through a burning torch and hit a frozen switch. If you can, try to find either an old N64 cartridge, or a 3DS copy. (I've never played the 3DS version, I don't know if it's worth the extra cash)

Truth. Playing with a controller is the only way. Trust me, it's worth the investment. A basic usb controller only costs about $10-15 at your local store, such as Target or Walmart.

I myself have been playing a lot of Sonic lately. Specifically 4: Episode 1 and the originals, as well as Rush (never finished it). I've also been playing a lot of Skyrim, Killing Floor, COD 4, Starcraft II, Diablo II, and Need For Speed: World to name a few.

I just beat Amnesia: A Dark Decent a month ago as well. Let me tell you, that game is extremely messed up. Such a good game though. Story was told and executed so well. I will play some custom stories once I get the itch to be scared out of my mind again.

Oh I have a Usb controller converter, that converts Ps2, Xbox, Gamecube. controllers to PC. Yeah I'm playing in style icon_razz.gif
I mostly use my gamecube controller for playing 64 games. and use my Ps2 controller to play all the others games.
So Yeah I don't really have much problem playing On emulators on my computer icon_smile.gif

And My converter only cost $9.99 What a deal I've had it for about 4 years now.

Finished the childhood chapter in Tales of Graces f. I was kinda underwhelmed so far. The childhood chapter is one of the most laughable things I have ever seen in a Tales game.

I've been getting into Portal 2--great game so far. Arguably better than the first, although I can't quite make a proper judgment yet considering I haven't beaten it. icon_razz.gif It's certainly a really funny game so far, and the puzzles are great. Can't wait to co-op with someone. That'll be interesting.

Other than that, I've been getting back into Team Fortress 2. As shocking as this sounds, not playing a game for six months makes you kinda suck at it. icon_frown.gif I've gone from often being near the top player on servers to often being near the bottom. My aim as a Sniper has gotten pathetic, and that used to be one of my better classes, too. Oh, and I still have no idea how to play a good Spy. D: I'm, like, the least stealthy and sneaky individual on the planet.

Speaking of Portal, I've also been played Mari0 a bit recently. It's basically Super Mario Bros. 1 with a Portal gun. It doesn't add as much to the game as I figured it would, though--the fact that it comes with a custom level editor makes it far more interesting, although I haven't tried to make any custom levels yet. Dunno if I'll ever find the time to, really. icon_confused.gif

I thought you could do that with one of the buttons, though? icon_odd.gif At least in EarthBound/Mother 2, anyway. Wasn't it R or something? I dunno... it's been too long since I've last played it, and I'm too lazy to go check.

Update on Tales of Graces f.

I'm about 2 hours in the "Main Arc" of the game. The game go so much better. Now its getting that Tales flavor that I like. The battle system in Graces is the most fast-paced out of all the Tales games I've played.

Finally got around to getting the good ending for the first time on the N64 version of StarFox 64. Had the game since it came out, but never got around to beating it through Area 6's route. Funny, Star Wolf wasn't nearly as difficult as I remember him being.

Still don't have high score, though. I got 3rd, mainly because when my Uncle Pat played my game many years ago, he took the route "Corneria > Sector Y > Aquas > Zoness > Macbeth > Area 6 > Venom", earning a bunch of extra points in Macbeth for demolishing the factory with the train. I went from Zoness to Sector Z, so while I took a more difficult route, I didn't get nearly as many points.

My good friend Fluttershy is helping me run through Mega Man X. Never played it before, and I've heard it's a great game, so I wanted to play it through, but I hate online guides... (Don't ask... I dunno) Her helping me has been good, and I am highly enjoying the game! icon_biggrin.gif

Well, did all I wanted to do in Revelations, so now I'm going back to Brotherhood to collect what I've missed. Which is mainly just buying everything I haven't bought, completing the shop quests, and finding all the collectibles. This should be fun...

Aside from Disgaea 4 (Currently midway through Ep 7) and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (Going through Benlisk (or however you spell it) ruins. I think I'm kinda close to the end), I've been poking at my Steam library a bit more. Blocks that Matter, Super Meat Boy and BIT.TRIP RUNNER have been my main choice of games at the moment, as well as a second playthrough of Sequence on hard mode. I'd like to go for the top difficulty, but that's nuts and I just can't manage that. D:

I've been playing Earthbound on a SNES emulator on my PSP. Real interesting game. I don't think I've ever played an RPG that requires as much grinding as this.

I just started playing Skyward Sword last night. Finally. I had gotten it around Christmas time but I had to pawn my wii to pay rent. Finally got another wii and I must say, the game is awesome. The story is really captivating. I'm really into the story part of Zelda games.

I haven't played that much yet. Only up until
Spoiler
I must say though. I'm thoroughly enjoying this game so far. ^_^

Really. I never had to grind once in EarthBound. icon_blink.gif
