I can't get past the level 1 fire temple because I need to step over lava, yet the step ladder has eluded me. I've been all over ice lake as suggested in the comments, and I'm starting to think I've hit a glitch. What are the exact steps to getting to the ice temple to retrieve the ladder?

You don't get step ladder until after you beat level 1.

In the room where it seems like you need the step ladder, hit the crystal with your boomerang.

sooo... which way are you suppose to go? from the point which you teleport to in the desert

You should reach a wall which you blast with a super bomb.

I dunno if I remember correctly. But to the left, where you begin you'll find a tree, above that tree is a spot you can burn with your candle, you can only see with the lens of truth. Than you have to use your existing items like arrow, sword, bombs, and such which you can only see with the lens of truth.

Simple question: Is it possible to go through doors while in water (using the flippers)?

It's an issue in the Water Temple, as well as the Shadow Temple. I can't walk through this door:

you have to be using a certain beta version i believe

The correct version of zc compatible with this quest can be downloaded at soulsofwisdom.com

You can switch which ZC betas you want to play while still keeping your save progress by copying and pasting your zc.sav to the new folder.

mmm, Started a new game yesterday again, got beat level 1 already, but forgot how to get the ladder.
got the fire boomer in there,, any update change anything in here??

Wow Lvl 5 ingenious with those almost hidden triggers.

In LVL 7 and missing a regular key, I got the big key and hammer and there's a door just behind a statue around the first part to the right entrance that shows an area not yet discovered. Could the key be there? and how do you open it?

One more Question, in the dark world there is a small building entrtance that leads to a cave with 4 blocks that shows they can be pushed but nothing happens, how do you move them? This is next to a statue entrance which shows you need a master key inside to enter??

well I remember moving those blocks, but first I had to go to the bottom of the well
and get the second, or power two glove .... I thing I forgot where that big key is at! to open that door....

The ladder is located at frozen lake in dark world. Remember the water temple had both water and ice counterparts? Beat the ice version to get the ladder.

You have to find another entrance into that cave.

Thats where you need to be. Go into the demon statue and use the key the old man gave you.

So where is the old man that has the "Sky Temple" key?

Wow, who have thunk Two masterkeys in LVL 8
Like I said in last post I got the one. But the other must be the one back in the Mountains I have been trying to get as mentioned in post 305, pg 21
a. Is that the key and how do you get it? b. Ok Then where do you drop down? and c. Is it behind that south door you can't get open and how do you open that door???

Remember the demon statue you prolly passed several times now in the village in dark world? That's where you will find the key!

And the key you see in the mountains. You have to drop down two floors, one to get in the room with the sealed door, and the other to reach the key. Just be aware of the surroundings so you know which holes to drop down.

To those who are playing and wondering if I have any future plans or updates for this quest.

Unfortunately, not any time soon. For the time being, I am done designing quests. I've been very busy, and mostly just visits this website occasionally to help players out.

I'm only uploading this temporarily.
