That being said, I read a Game Informer issue recently with a review of the E3 demo and they referred to Ghirahim as a female. ... wow. I realize he's all FABULOUS and stuff, but to drop the female insult? These guys are blind. But it makes me wonder if anyone in the game will insult Ghirahim by calling him female now.

No one responded which made me believe no one read it, so I posted it again. :s
I'm pretty certain Nintendo has said that Vaati isn't in it. Twinrova... maybe, since this is a back story.
Oh, if anyone didn't see, Nintendo released a new trailer for Comic-con. Unfortunately, it's mostly the same as the other trailers except for a few different clips. Also...

Well, it was too hard with Twilight Princess, when they waited too long to add the feature. At that late date they would have had to backtrack and recode everything.
I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement the feature if they planned on it from the start (and in this case, they would have the chance to plan that far ahead).
I'm left-handed, but to tell the truth, I'm not clamoring for a left-handed option. This is because I don't think it would help. Regardless of which way Link holds the sword on screen, I would have to hold the remote in my left hand, which means that all the button functions which are normally allocated to my right hand would now be in my left hand, and vice-versa.
If you can't see what's so difficult about that, let me give you metaphor: imagine that after years of driving, you are told to drive a car where EVERYTHING is mirrored. The drivers seat is on the opposite side, the turn signal is on the other side of the wheel, and the gear shift is on the opposite side, too. It would screw you up pretty badly, and it wouldn't MATTER whether you're left-handed or right-handed, because everything would be different from the way you'd been doing it for years.
Anyway, I'm just going to have to see how clumsy my right hand is with a virtual sword.
Twinrova doesn't seem terribly likely to me. That would probably necessitate a full-fledged reappearance pf the Gerudo race, and until I hear of that happening, I am skeptical. I wouldn't necessarily mind seeing them return, though. I'd love to see what they'd look like with a graphical redesign for the new style. And after OoT 3D reintroduces gamers to OoT, Gerudos might be back in style again!...
Dude, that's not much of a spoiler.
Oh, and a warning: I'm about to revert to my nerdy side here, so if you need to shield yourself from exposure to convention geeks, please do not read beyond the awesomeface smiley below:
....
After getting a good look at Link's villager outfit, I get the feeling that I'm going to want to cosplay it, even though I don't even know the name of the village yet.
The problem is the sword. Fantasy characters always seem to be heavily armed. Those prop replicas are expensive, dangit.

Do want.
That was awesome. I haven't seen many of the trailers, so most of that was pretty new to me.

I'm sure a little in the way of paper mache could bring you to a cheaper alternative.

Edit: I noticed the goron features tattoos looking like the Goron Ruby. Now, with diamonds and the like being pretty famous design elements in the game from what we've seen and from the fact that SS takes place before OoT, I wonder wether the spiritual stones will play a role in the game. It wouldn't be too far off, actually.

This is looking great! The only thing that irks me a bit is Link's lips. They almost seem more prominent than Zelda's, which is weird considering he's the male character...But that's just a little thing. Won't stop me from purchasing!

One last thing I want to discuss:
http://www.zeldawiki..._Stalfos_E3.png
I looked at it, I liked the style of the Stalfos, but then I noticed something. Underneath the hearts is a bar, but what the hell is it? At first I was glad they brought the magic meter back (if I remember correctly, we haven't seen it since Wind Waker, not including OoT3D because it was a remake). Then I noticed it was blue, and had the Hylian Shield attached to it, no next to the bar, it's touching the bar. Anybody know what this bar might be?
I can't wait for this game, does it have a definite release date yet?
Edit: @Rem, I noticed Link's lips too, that's just ridiculous for a guy.

Also, it's been established a bit back, that the meter is indeed for the shield, and when the bar is empty, the shield breaks.

I dunno, I kind of prefer the SS style of Gorons over the TP style. They look less creepy this way.

Boring. I was hoping that when you raise the shield, a timer kicks in. When the time is over (when the bar is empty) Link lets down the shield and the bar will start refilling. While the bar's empty, the shield can not be used. That would've been great, it's not exactly hard to fight them foes if you can't even get damaged behind your shield that you can just hold up high like no tomorrow. Ah well, breakable shields sounds like they make Rupees more useful, so I dig it none the less, I guess.

I suppose Nintendo's working on fixing the Rupee economy. Rupees haven't really been useful since MM- other than for required purchases in WW and TP.
I like the idea of distinction between horizontal and vertical slices, and slices and stabs, but I'm a bit cautious about the rest of the 1:1 swordplay. I feel like it's a bit too much of a gimmick.
And I hope there's an option to use the pointer to aim your weapons. The tilting method seems really awkward.
EDIT: I really respect Nintendo for their artistic choice. I'm honestly tired of realism- and realism really saps creativity, personality, and memorability. Why is Team Fortress 2 better than Team Fortress Classic? It's not just balance improvements and better level design. The cartoonism in Team Fortress 2 breathes life into the classes. The characters have personality. You don't really forget about nope.avi or GENTLEMEN or any of the amazing Heavy quotes.
The big thing that people forget about video games is the characters. Characterization in video games is far more important than any other element of a game's story because players should have control over the plot, not the developers. But the characters- they're what we play. If the characters suck, the story isn't particularly memorable.

What if wooden shields are breakable, but the Hylian Shield (and Mirror Shield, if applicable) use your idea? Hold the metal shield up long enough, it doesn't break, but it is disabled until the gauge refills.
Beefster:
I generally agree with you, but I would add that there are many levels of realism. TP wasn't hyper-realistic. It was just non-cel-shaded. The proportions were still fairly cartoony. The main difference was that it had rather... well... rustic textures. I guess that'd be one word for it.
About Link's lips:
In case you didn't notice, Link had pretty pronounced lips in TP, too.
As for him looking feminine... if you look back at the series, in any game in which he isn't a little boy, Link IS a little bit effeminate. Link has never had a chiseled jaw or a heavy brow, and he's never been portrayed as old enough to shave.
I can see how not everyone likes that fact, but it's definitely nothing new. Where've you been all this time?...
Edit: Here's a little reminder.
