Wow, the window. icon_eek.gif
You should have caught it, and taken it to an animal shelter or something. Racoons in a city aren't that common.
What the heck is a greenbelt, anyways?

Raccoons aren't THAT rare. Definitely not rare enough to capture it and take it to a shelter.
Speaking of animals, I've been seeing a lot of black squirrels in my school's parking lot. They showed up in the area just recently I think. Supposedly they came from Canada. How they got here from there is still a mystery. They're pretty weird, and I don't like them hanging around my school.

I live in a small town. On top of that, I'm at the edge of town, right at the base of a mountain. Raccoons are very common here. Heck, cougars aren't unheard of. I was just surprised by how big it was.

As for the greenbelt, it's a strip of plants (mostly thorn bushes) that winds through the neighborhood. Well, I'll take a picture from google earth later, but part of our neighborhood goes sort of like this:

s
s
s
sssssssss
s s
s s
s s
s s
s s
s s
s s
s s
s

The greenbelt winds through the space between the houses, then loops around the pond, and goes up the other half of the neighborhood (which is similar in design). The whole drawing is over-simplified, of course.

Edit: My drawing didn't work right. icon_frown.gif

I actually need to take a survey for a possible job with Apple.

For those of you who use Windows, why do you use it when alternatives such as the Mac and Linux are readily and generally easily available?

I use Windows and Linux. One word: games. Windows has games that just don't run under other OS (even with Wine), don't run as well there, or it's just plain simpler under windows.

Russ: Well, I live in an urban area so a mountain lion(or even a racoon) is pretty rare here.
Bengal: 'Cause if all that you've used throughout your life is Windows, getting used to Mac or Linux is hell. But I will admit Windows is no good. Heck, Windows 7 doesn't even run ZC properly...

I'm gonna go back to Windows simply because of the games I'm missing out on. It sounds lame, I know, but there are a lot of things that look too damn interesting for me to stay with Linux right now. Don't get me wrong, I love Linux and would definitely use it for work. However, there just aren't enough games available(except FPS games, which are abundant, but thats not my style.)

I like Windows. I don't like Mac. Simple as that. Mac's too 3D, and hard to use. I've used Windows since I was 4 or 5 years old, and I know it better than any other OS.

Can you (Or should you?) post this in a more easily viewable location, which is less ... non-serious? More official?

I use it primarily for gaming, and for those applications which weren't meant to run on a Mac. First Person Shooters come to mind, primarily for the lack of need to use the Command button to right-click, which can obvious get a bit awkward in a firefight.

Additionally, and I know that I am probably in some sort of bizarre minority considering the nature of the things I've heard against Windows, but as I'm on XP pretty much universally where I am in my life right now, I haven't had even a single issue for any Windows systems I've owned within at least a year. I only say a year because it's the amount of time that I am at least reasonable sure that it's been absolutely smooth and easy-going, because I don't even remember having any windows-related trouble in the past with XP.

Obviously, this should imply that I will never upgrade to Vista or anything else. So yes, "Windows XP is awesome." "Windows Vista is awful." (IMHO) There. Keep your system clean, and it'll take care of you.

Would you rather have a tileset of Lost Isle or Have the quest Unpassworded?

If the quest was unpassworded, I would have the tileset.

Lost Isle's tileset is like Pure with BS(the tileset >_>;) and DOR. Its not that impressive really, and we've seen everything in it before. Well, almost everything. The quest is about the story and gameplay, and the graphics were just grabbed to fit the thing.

So, neither.

The tileset. It's one of the few quests that makes PTUX look really good.

Although using cheats to see how some of the bosses are put together would be kind of fun. icon_smile.gif
