Wait, what's the point of a tile-for-tile remake that doesn't change anything?
I also stated a couple posts back that I will be adding gameplay mechanics to it as well. I wasn't going to say this, but I was also thinking of adding a gauntlet round as well as adding more dynamic cutscenes.
Oh My Gosh, Isle of Winds!
This is gonna be epic!
I sure hope so.

Anyways, on the screen itself: it looks good, aside from the line of rocks at the top, which honestly looks pretty bad.

I understand. I hope to add more content and change a few things. And yeah, I'm going to change the rocks. Right now, I'm getting the same structure as the original remade. Then I am going to be changing and fixing the flaws in the game and polish it up. I think you'll like it when I get around to doing the real work on it. You'll see what I mean.
Again, word of advice: Change and fix flaws first. Don't recreate the game, then go back an edit. I've done a remake of another person's quest before (it got cancelled), so I've got firsthand experience here.

Thanks Jared. Here's some updated shots:

These are nice shots, but I have a few minor ideas (and I mean minor). Firstly, could Link swim in Isle of the Winds? If not, do you need to put so much crap in the water? I'm assuming it's to block the player, but I can't recall if you could swim or not, so I don't know how much you need this barrier. Either way I'd try to use less of them, and instead go with some smart placements so Link can't pass.
Also, do you know those little 'triangles' of dirt-to-water transitions you have on all screens except the last one? It's probably just me, but I really don't like the edgy look to it. I'd throw in a middle tile between each, so they get less of a jagged look. Again, it's just me, but I always found it to look a bit unnatural when I did them like that.
It'd also be really cool if you brought back the original palettes for each area.

Yes he could swim in Isle of Winds. I am trying to find alternatives to what DarkFlameWolf did. I'll hopefully be able to use smart placement when I get the surrounding screens done, but for now, I have to keep it like this until then. When I get to that point, I would love to use less.
I will look into fixing the dirt-to-water transitions.
I was actually thinking of doing that.
Thanks for the critique Migokalle!
