Also that witch shot... that witch is so magical, it allows the broom to go through her dress. She really is the finest witch.

What the heck, I'm just now noticing that.  They didn't even try to move the dress XD.  They could've at least turned her sideways on it so her legs + dress were dangling over the broom.

That'd be so much cuter. MISSED OPPORTUNITIES NINTENDO.

Can we all agree that we would have this over the overly janky cel-shaded graphics engine found in PH/ST?

Well, they're more advanced, and generally better looking than the DS titles, but I'm personally fond of the graphical style of Wind Waker, Ph/ST. Probably my favorite graphics style.

I just didn't like how compressed it looked compared to WW.

I dunno, I think WW-style graphics would look great on 3DS. In fact I would really love a WW-style game (as in not PH-style) on the 3DS, but I'm okay with A Link Between Worlds. Maybe in the future...

That would be great overall, but like I said before, I'm getting tired of Nintendo overly saturating Toon Link.

That's actually what I expected them to do with the new Zelda title on the 3DS, but was surprised to see this. I was really hoping for a full 3D, third person perspective, rather than the oldschool top-down view. They could have taken advantage of the 3DS's hardware. But whatevs. This is cool for now.

The reason I really like the direction they're going in is because we haven't had a traditional top-down Zelda game since The Minish Cap, which, while I know it had its fans, was a bit of a disappointment to me. I'd like to see how they handle the old style in this 3D polygonal style. And having heavy ties to the best game in the series doesn't hurt either. :P

It's easier to just blame Capcom for it.

Are you pretending PH/ST dosen't exist again? :glare:

Not at all, I just don't consider those to be "traditional top-down Zelda games." The angle isn't quite right, the control scheme is incredibly different, and the main means of travel breaks that view anyhow, so they're in a category of their own.

So, here's an article with a theory on whether or not the "other world" in the game could be Termina:

http://www.gengame.n...lds-is-termina/

Some potential spoiler info in there, but it's an interesting read and fairly compelling argument. I mean I won't be too disappointed if it's not the case, but it's something I could look forward to.

Hey, at least we got Majora's Mask 3D and everyone is happy. Operation Moonfall was a success and aLttP fans get to experience a overdue sequel. 8)

To be honest however, I kinda doubt it is since Termina doesn't really have a "Dark World"-esque look. But there are still several ways to make this theory work such as the statues that look like they're licking the Triforce and the trippy effect when entering Termina. Another problem is the timeline, unless Termina was created during the events between SS and OoT which has to be explained in game in my opinion (not "Termina was made before OoT" but "many eras ago" or something along those lines since the timeline is made up of eras).

They brought aLttP to their attention let's hope they bring MM up to... And yes, I don't mean MM3D. :P
