I'm not saying I won't enjoy it at all, but the fact that we've got solid grounds to believe they won't be adding anything new to a game they've released many-a-times now is seriously disappointing. It may look nicer, but I'd like to play some new stuff in it as well. If anything, when I first heard about it, I was really hoping to see an OoT that Nintendo had originally intended to make from the start, with all the stuff they wanted to put in but didn't have time to. I knew it probably wouldn't happen, but it'd be nice, non?
Anyways, the only thing I really ask for in a remake is extra content. I've personally never seen an official video game remake that didn't add something new like a level, boss, or even an entire alternate story. Just something extra, othere wise I'll just go play it on the N64 again and get some good ol' nostalgia.
I understand. But I'm saying this as a person who has anticipated many a remake (because I'm an old fart, at least compared to most of the fans here). People ALWAYS start freaking out about what will remain in the game, and what will be removed, and how much will be added. And this rarely has any bearing at all on the finished product. Remakes have surprised audiences just as often as they haven't. It's VERY difficult to predict what will be different by looking at screenshots, and they are purposefully vague about what will be changed, so people will be surprised when they play the game. After all, without surprising differences, it's just another rerelease, right?...

Light temple. They need to add a light temple. Every medallion had a temple to go along with it except the light medallion. I demand a light temple, Nintendo.
Go play Twilight Princess.
Zenith:Agreed, Master Quest would be nice.
But again, as someone who has played a lot of remakes, I highly doubt they will do that. Remakes tend to default to the original game before they make changes, as opposed to stacking on top of the last remake or add-on. Sometimes this is a good thing, sometimes bad...

...but if it's Nintendo of America, and they have no input on the game, maybe they didn't know? No reason to get your hopes down yet!
Plus, why would they wait so long for the game to come out when they've been working on it for such a long time now?
No, they know.
Personally, I don't trust Nintendo of America's accuracy. Not after having seen their Zelda encyclopedia. They tend to make sh-... er, make stuff up.
Personally, what *I* would like to see would be a difficult setting. It wouldn't be at all challenging to code in another difficulty setting which either increases the number of enemies in each location, or gives you bigger and badder enemies to face earlier on, or -- and this is the simplest way to do it -- increases the damage enemies deal with each hit.
I would probably play with it set to max.
