but I will say that if it IS true, then I'm slightly worried about the overall gameplay feel of the game.

Well, the director and composer of the games Junichi Masuda told us that we will stop and think "Is this really Pokemon". I think there is a reason why the protagonists are much older this time around.

No matter what changes, there will ALWAYS be those nostalgia whores who hate just about every new aspect in the games. 'Tis what makes these changes go 'round. I myself gladly accept revolutionary changes to any series, just as long as the basic gameplay is the same . I wouldn't be suprised, for instance, if we're given the choice to join the Team & cause mayhem, or they allow us to actually steal other trainer's Pokémon. It'd all be a nice change, as the players define themselves. Koh's 2¢.

I don't hate "every new aspect in the games," just that they're changing so freaking much...

I really like the Mouse and Pigeon Pokemon. The professor is a female this time!

The fire guy is going to get a lot of ****, but I kinda like the chinese demon thing he has going on there. Everything else is just... wha? It looks like they put hardly any effort into these guys at all. Ew ew ew.

Huh. A chinchilla? That's kind of cool TECHNICIAN!? Whoa. With that and Super Luck on the pigeon, you can tell they're (apparently) trying to make the com mons worth catching this time around.

Overall, I like a lot of the new ones. Not overly complex, but not too simple, either.

... Gear-shaped Pokémon? And another Fire-type simian? They've officially run out of ideas.

I think the professor being a female is...interesting. I don't like that all the new Pokemon look like Neopets.

Okay, Isshu looks awesome. Seriously. Awesome

As for the Pokemon, the Chinchilla looks kind of cute. The fire one is a bit ugly, but I like it. Zebra = awesome. 'bout time they got a zebra. The crock looks good, and has plenty of potential. That pigeon is so awesome, it's gonna be my team's flying type. The pig is just weird. The cogs look pretty neat though. I like the idea of a female professor a lot.

Also, there is a new random wifi match mode. FINALLY! This alone makes up for anything stupid the game does. Also, Reshiram is fire type, and Zekrom is electric. I have no idea how they got that, but that makes Zekrom that much better.

Overall, looking at all of these, I'm seriously considering having two of them (the pigeon and the croc) on my team. Overall, I'm not actually too disgusted by most of them

And I still can't go over how cool Isshu looks.

I don't know why people are complaining on having a gears Pokemon. Magnemite is just a damn magnet and voltorb is just a stupid pokeball looking thing!

So far my team is the Fire starter, That flying type, and that mouse type pokemon. I wanna see more psychic and dark types

The only ones I really like are the chinchilla, pigeon and zebra. I think the pigeon just looks like a slightly edited Starly though. I also think it's cool that the professor is female this time.

I think Reshiram and Zekrom are both cool, so I don't really care which one I get.

But what if you get matched up with someone who has an all legend/haxed team ¬.¬....I'm liking some of those new guys, especially the Chinchilla. Isshu does look like it'll be fun adventuring around. Hopefully, I have a new DS by the time this comes out.
