3 weeks of no activity. You oughta be ashamed!

I will now post a subliminal message:

Three series...

Twins at each others throats...

Blonds fighting jellyfish and dragons...

Boys fighting pigs...

Can you figure them out? Shouldn't be that hard.

Earthbound/Mother. Your clues are as readable as a book.

anyways...yesterday was my AcaDeca speech/essay/interview competition. We had to dress in suits, so the whole place looked like a business expo or something. It was funny, 'cause in my interview session, I had put "Brawler" and had gotten funny looks from the judges. I later explained (to their relief) that this meant that I am an avid SSBB player...

That sounds funny.

By the way, Mother is only an answer to one of the clues. I think the first and third are the same series (it's been a while since I posted), but the second one is a different series.

Did I say book? I meant the Rosetta Stone.
*shot*

Anyways, I am now officially done with this year's Academic Decathlon competition. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS........

But it is a big relief to be done with this. 7 tests and a 2-hour long live competition really drains you. And this week I begin to prepare for my ZC class at school, so it's all gooooooood.

According to http://www.speedtest.net/ I should download at 188 kb/s but right now I'm running an abysmal 32.5 kb/s.

Ouch. Good luck with the download.

^ What am I saying? Good luck with the download? Something is seriously wrong with me.

I found that a UK server treated me right. I got it at the normal speed.

Before you add your reply, inhale, exhale, rinse, repeat as desired, and then reread your post.

But "good luck with the download" is actually quite a valid thing to say for the dialup users.

"Good luck with the install" I think would be valid for anybody except the most elitist of computer geeks.

"Good luck" would be valid for anybody, no matter what they might say.

"luck" would just be laziness.

If you're just trying it out, you might use Wubi instead. Much easier to undo if you don't want to keep it.

After looking Wubi up, I'll probably try that. It seems simple enough, and I can always install the full Ubuntu should I like it.

I had Ubuntu all downloaded this morning and was burning it to disc when I left the house. I'm hoping that it didn't mess up while I was at school...

So today I looked out the widow.

There was a giant raccoon in my backyard. At first glance, I thought it was a cat. But it was huge. It just walked right through the yard and into the greenbelt.
