What's up with the holes? They look random and unnatural. It's like someone was bored and dug up a lot of the ground.
Good stuff otherwise.
Yeah pretty much I got bored and placed holes in random spaces. for the hey of it. they not make it to the final version though. And Thanks.

NOTE: Some things are subject to change.
Good to see the set being used! The screens themselves are... okay. I guess they could work for a simple quest.

I could make a couple custom ones for you, if you'd like.

The screens are great, but that palette doesn't really do it much justice.

I've been testing out different palettes I've recently made and designing a screen for each area just to give me a sense of what look I'll be aiming for. Here's some screenshots:

Jared: It looks very nice. Most people tend to want to ignore the aspects of man-made architectural design and try to give even a castles a natural look. You did a good job.

Thanks /M/! I really appreciate it.
Wow, those screens are amazing. Everything is just so perfect! Your Link tiles, the palettes...wow.
However, I must ask. Are these Zelda 1 screens we are looking at? They look quite similar!
Edit - I see a tile error in the bottom right on the last screen.

Thank you, Jared, and you were quick to spot that tile error, I didn't even notice it.
I should have known better to think you guys wouldn't notice the similarities to LoZ so quickly

There have been several complaints about the borders, and I'm working on adding more detail tiles next. But other then that, this is just a mere "made for fun" shot. The next shot I show off should be from the proper project I've planned for a while now.
The project's main gameplay element is Link collecting four souls from different races (these races are the Deku, Goron, Zora and Sheikah) and obtain the abilities. If you have the Goron Soul you'll be able to withstand hot areas. If you have the Zora Soul you can explore underwater. If you have the Sheikah Soul you'll be able to see invisible things. I haven't exactly thought out what the Deku Soul will do, but perhaps you'll be able to talk/interact with plants.
I hope this will give you some vision on what the game will be like.
