The reason I do it is to keep everything closed up. If I use the correct ones, the player will most likely be able to slip through to another spot, since two of the pink squares will be walkable. Understand what I mean?

... no actually, I don't know what you mean. Half the tile is walkable, but the other half is solid, and you can't very well "slip through" a solid combo, regardless of whether it's only half or full solid.

You can get through if the tile is continuous.

I'm saying if the entire tile is blocked, there's no way of getting to a possible spot the player isn't supposed to be. That's all.

Well... there isn't even if half the tile's blocked, is there? And if that's really that big of a deal to you, just make the half tile high mountain combo fully solid. There's no excuse to be using them incorrectly.

Agreed. There's absolutely nothing from stopping you editing the combo, or even making a duplicate combo that's fully solid to use in these situations. Ugly graphical errors isn't the best solution - especially when there are so many easy fixes at your disposal.

Alright, I'm in the middle of fixing the mountains, almost done.

Does anyone have the shadowless grass mountain bottoms? I can't find them in the DoR set.

Not bad, Dragonite. I'm not a fan of the tree tiles but everything else seems to be coming along fine. The palette is okay, I'll try to get a few OW palettes for your set soon enough.

I've been experimenting with my tileset more trying to figure out what will visually be different and at the same time be easier on my part in terms of gathering tiles. Currently, I'm testing out an entire grayscale look and would like some opinions on how the tiles match up together.

I really have no idea what is going on, on the screen. Everything just blends into each other, I don't think the poor image quality is helping. I'm guessing that to the left is forest brush and those are mountain tiles on the top right. But I don't think greyscale would work because everything is so detailed and everything has a gradient or pattern on it.

It looks like it could be very, very promising but it's just so hard to tell at the moment.

I agree with Bourky. You really need colors to tie this together. I believe I've seen an ealier incarnation of the tileset in color and it worked way better (plus looked really nice).
