I'm playing OoT on Wii U VC, Oracle of Seasons on my 3DS, and the Bravely Second demo of that counts. I'm also playing TPHD again on hero mode, but the other games sort of took priority lol

Just managed to finish The Wind Waker HD a moment ago, and man I definitely prefer this over the original. Still as fun as always and still my favourite Zelda game to this day. Gonna be moving on to Twilight Princess HD now, in which the original was my 2nd favourite Zelda game, so I guess it's time to see how well this one will go :P

Edit: Forgot to mention that I beat WWHD with 100% completely, that includes completing the figurine collection, something I've actually never done before. Thank you Tingle Bottles for allowing this to be much easier to do in one run :P

I decided to finally get around to actually playing Dark Souls since I bought it nearly 3 years ago, haven't touched it, and a majority of my friends are crazy about it.

... Never has a game made me feel more conflicted. The controls are stiff and janky and I hate them, the enemies are stupidly over powered at all times, and in general, the game feels void of any kind of charm, but... I just want to keep playing. I want to see what's around that corner. What's on the other side of the light. What that dragon is guarding. I have probably lost around 15,000 souls from cheap enemy patterns and stupid mistakes in one play session, had to redo sections again and again, and have silently raged harder than I have in a long time, but if I seem to be having such a bad time, why do I want to keep playing?

I suppose that's Dark Souls' charm. You're put through such a hell of an experience, that you develop the burning desire to get through it unscathed, and to see what's on the other side of that weird demon thing. I guess I can commend Dark Souls in that regard. It's also clear that a lot of time and effort was put into making this game, so I can't honestly say it's bad game. Overrated? Yeah, I think so. I definitely don't think it's as great as everyone thinks it is, but it's got a good foundation, and good ideas. I just think the difficulty feels gimmicky, and completely unfair in certain circumstances.

Just finished Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam. I had a blast from start to finish and it's overall a pretty great game.

Dat final boss music tho.

I was thinking of trying Super Paper Mario. I know it's not turn based and it's a platformer with RPG elements, but i'm honestly curious of trying it. Gonna get it cheap though, so that i won't regret as much if i end up disliking it.

Super Paper Mario is fun as long as you continue to remember that you can't compare it to the other Paper Mario games.

Also, you can break the game pretty easy once you get the movement-speed upgrade (No further details in case of spoilers), so if you aren't a fan of the gameplay in general but you like the story, you shouldn't have too bad of a time.

It has a fairly slow start but around Chapter 5 or 6 it starts to pick up pace and get pretty good story wise and alright for level design.

Going to continue Xenoblade eventually, hopefully tomorrow.

Wanna play Bravely Second too. Not sure about Undertale anymore. :(

Been breezing through TPHD lately. Just started the Goron Mines and I gotta say, the controls seem slightly delayed. Like everything I do isn't instant and that bugs me a bit, especially seeing how I just came from WWHD where everything was instant. But oh well, I'll get used to it eventually. I also hear a lot of complaints about how bad controlling Epona is, but really I have no problems at all. I hardly have any trouble controlling her lol. Same can be said for fighting as Wolf Link.

Though those Shadow Kargaroks still spook the fuck out of me. One just appeared out of nowhere in Kakariko, scared the shit out of me as it blasted its horn thing right next to where I was and where I couldn't see it, and then clipped through the wall. I also trapped one in a corner in Death Mountain :P

Those things are freaky. :o

Somehow, I'm still playing Xenoblade Chronicles X. I say "somehow" because I don't really like playing XBX, but something about it begs me to finish it as completely as I can. My main character is level 59 and I still have a few chapters left after playing for 155 hours. It'll feel good to be done!

So what comes afterward? I'm thinking of continuing Darksiders II. I've had it as long as I've had my Wii U and have effectively used it as the game I play in between other games. It's fun, atmospheric, and has some nice puzzles, though the repetition gets to me every so often and I have to take a break.

Honestly Skells and sidequests are the best thing about X. Story is crap, but stick around for the sidequests, some are actually fun, interesting, and funny.

Playing Fire Emblem Fates Conquest. So far, I'm liking it a little better than Birthright because this game requires me to think of a real strategy as opposed to Birthright where I can win by just charging in.

Still playing TPHD, and I have to agree with you, Eddy. The controls do feel a bit stiff and take some getting used to. The camera, for instance, is something that I'm fighting continuously.

I just got the Master Sword today, now I'm trying to remember how to get into the Arbiter's Grounds.

The map should have a red flag telling you where you can go next (should be in Hyrule Castle Town, and then Lake Hylia). But yeah, the camera seems to be quite slow. I've gotten used to the controls now though, thankfully lol.

Also just started Arbiter's Grounds myself, definitely getting to the interesting parts of the game now.
