So, we have decided that we will start on the volcano area first. This screen here is more of a mock-up and rather WIP, too. But we are getting closer to actually getting started on building the game. We, that is Gonken, Moosh, NoeL and myself.
The lava really brings the screen together...I wonder why classic didn't have lava in the first place?

More great classic screens from Sheik.

Probably because you could make some half ass ones by changing the color of the water lol.
hey Sheik, After you guys get done with this project. You should release this as a new tileset.

Sure, why not. Though a majority of the tiles that weren't original LoZ tiles have been deleted because they have a certain style which we aren't going for. Further, all the dungeon entraces have been removed. There's more changes such as these that make the DS tileset fairly useless as a template for any quest but DS. That's because it's not meant as a tileset but a quest project. I wouldn't mind sharing the tiles, though.

Oh my gosh, this screen is amazing. It's built nicely, and the lava is absolutely beautiful. I'm so impressed! (And jealous

Very nice! Love the floor tiles.
I think you should remove that vegetation in the way to the left, in the walls, unless you want it to hide the way. I admit, I didn't see the way leading on the left untill I looked at the screenshot for a third time. (Should be easier to spot in-game I assume)

In what way is that hidden? Are you blind? That is the most weird criticism i have ever heard.

Did you read my post? XD
I said that he should probably remove the vegetation tile, unless he wanted it there for camouflage. Because it looked weird.
Are you blind?
Yes.

Hatsunem64, I really like that shot as I said in IRC, but I agree with Supindahood, you should remove that grass tile in the the door so it's more easier to notice.
In what way does that tile make it harder to notice? To be honest i would not have noticed that tile specifically it just looks like part of the floor(what the author of the picture seems to have intended). Are you as blind as Supindahood?

In the way that the tile is green just like the walls. Also, placing a detail tile in a door entrance looks wrong too.
>You don't have to agree on our opinions.
Good luck! :)

I'm more blinder then Supindahood.
EDIT: Yeah, it's how the green walls have the same colour as the green plant covering the doorway it, just makes looks hard to see on first glance. If you could see it during your first glance, cool, just don't disrespect our opinions please. D:
