The Business Octorok! In Draconia, Link won't find any merchants in shops (or any [living] humans for that matter...). Still, collecting all those rupees is not in vain! The Octoroks that appear in Draconia are selling a variety of goodies, including all the typical stuff such as shields, bombs, arrows, potions. The rare blue Business Octoroks sell special items, but they take a larger fee than their red (and more common) fellas. The traditional walking Octorok enemy does not appear in Draconia at all.
Business Ocotroks are hidden underneath certain bushes, which cannot be cut, and will pop up when Link walks near them. They will attack Link at first and the player has to deflect their projectiles at them before Link can make business.
Edit: I might throw in minor updates about Dragonsoul like this in the OQSCT every once in a while as long as there is no proper discussion topic for the project. I hope that's not an issue.
I like the it! The whole idea (and the bush tiles) remind me of TMC.

Sheik, looks cool! So are Business Octoroks kinda like Deku Shrubs in Minish Cap?
Thanks, guys. Both of you are right. The idea of immobile Ocotroks that live under bushes is adopted from SS, too.

Thanks! Going for nothing too fancy with appearance, just something simple and GB-like.

Emerald Garden, now with action.
You cross the gap underneath the bridge by using the hookshot on the blocks. Saving the unique gameplay ideas I got in my head for this dungeon for other screens since this is the second screen of the dungeon.
I thought the screen was pretty good until I read the second post. That's... kinda an issue. You see, it doesn't look like a bridge. It looks like a ledge, solidly connected to the ground with pits on both sides. It wouldn't occur to me to hookshot under it. I think you need to work on the bridge effect a little more.

I really like this idea, especially the blue octorocks. Make them extremely rare and selling exclusive items. Great job!

If i understood the puzzle correctly, doing this would make it much easier to understand.

I changed the blocks to hookshot targets to make it more obvious. I might add wall torches to give it more purple on the side areas.

I have to say still looking good. I think this is the first time I've seen something like this in Classic.
I guess you can call me a fan of your and Supindahood' classic work.

So, we have decided that we will start on the volcano area first. This screen here is more of a mock-up and rather WIP, too. But we are getting closer to actually getting started on building the game. We, that is Gonken, Moosh, NoeL and myself.

Man that looks amazing. I haven't seen good classic work like this since William left. So that's saying a lot.
Even if this is a mock up it looks great
And it peeks my interest more to see that Moosh and NoeL is working on this too.
