What works on these guys ?

Those can only be stopped by deflecting their shots with the fire boomerang. I don't recommend focusing on them, though.

 

How do I get across this room?

You have to hit a statue. Try stuff. If nothing works, many you missed something.

Lukas those harder mirror robes you have reflect their shots back at them. The mirror shield won't work but an another item will.

Splunker you need to shoot the eye status with the metal arrow (silver arrow)

Lukaz The knight tells you what to do you have hammer through the invisible barrier and shot him ignore all other enemies they are a distraction

The red tunic is in the final dungeon, so not obtainable just yet. That enemy requires a straight up sword fight. Nothing else hurts him. However, that doesn't mean you have to play fair. If you can charge up a hurricane spin, he should be easy enough to take out. ^_^

There are two swords available in that shop. Did you buy the expensive one or the cheap one? The cheap one is the sword you already have, just put there as variety and bait for those who don't pay attention to the sword graphic. ^_^;

The 150 rupee one. Its pickup message literally had the text "tempered sword" in it and it was a different color from my current sword. So I am making a huge leap and assuming it is indeed the right sword.

If you had the first sword, and you managed to buy the second, and nothing happened, that would be a pretty huge bug. However, I don't see how it could be a bug for us to fix, as we are using the basic ZC store mechanic and the basic lvl2 sword. That would be a bug in ZC, one I've never seen before.

My only advice would be to make sure you have the latest version of both ZC and our quest, and try it again.

In the Mystery Dungeon, I accessed all 3 entrances but haven't found a way to get past the spike floors.  Am I missing an item for that?

I don't see the dark stone where I buy super bombs east of the town in front of the tower.
