No problemo, 'twas my pleasure. Many thanks to you and everyone else (and of course Cdawg) who helped maintain and expand this awesome quest.
This isn't a huge deal (not game-breaking at all), but there's a key behind a locked door in B1 of the crypt. The key is in the northernmost room in the center column of rooms. To the right is a room of blue darknuts where you can get a gold 200 rupee drop. Like I said, not a huge deal, but I just figured I'd give you a heads-up.
Just out of curiosity, what are the odds of getting a 50 rupee drop from an enemy? 1 in 200? I've logged almost 6 hours now and I think I've gotten that drop 3 times.

Is the key you mentioned an extra key? It's the one behind a bunch of spiked barriers and hookshot blocks and wall-pulleys, yes?
It's interesting how the train station and the crypt can be done in either order, and the treasure from one can be used in the other. I need to add more hammer blocks in the train station.

EDIT: Ranagos' bait script works now. What a pleasure! Thanks so much for that. Beautiful.

Is the key you mentioned an extra key?
I think so. I finished the crypt with two extra keys.

Here are two more interesting hiccups I encountered:
(1) After finishing the crypt (with my extra 2 keys), I did some exploring of the excavation. When I grabbed the key in the NW room of B1, it increased my keys from 2 to 4! When I leave the excavation my key counter goes (correctly) to 3. When I walk back inside the excavation, my key counter is back at 4. Weird.(2) In enigma castle, it seems that whether the number 1 is prime or not is applied inconsistently. Here are two cases that seem to contradict each other: (a) In an early room on F1 where you have to factor 27, and the choices are 1 and 3, if you choose 3, you get warped back to the start; this makes sense given that 3 isn't a "distinct" prime factor of 27. So we can reasonably infer from this example that the game is going to treat 1 as a prime number. (b) On F2 in the room where you have to factor 1173, there are 4 choices: 1, 2, 3, and 4. Going through door 3 takes you to the relic; this makes sense given that 3 is a distinct prime factor of 1173. However, going through the door marked "1" warps you back to the start, seemingly in contradiction with the previous "27" example.
(fwiw, I was always taught that 1 isn't prime).
edit: realized you're supposed to go through the door signifying the number of distinct primes, instead of what I thought was the solution: walking through the door signifying the smallest such distinct prime (not sure why I was thinking that)

Here's another doozy: (sorry for double-posting)
Since I played this quest a while ago, I wanted to hold off on getting the excavation's super-powerful items (golden armor, golden arrow, L3 boomerang) until the final dungeon. I'm still picking up the relics as I encounter them, so that I don't have to duplicate my visits around the world. Upon dropping off my most recent relic at the excavation, something interesting happened. I left a relic with the old man who guards the golden arrow, but I did not pick up the golden arrow (btw, I really like that you're now required to have the L2 arrow in order to pick up the L3 arrow). I saved/quit, then a few minutes later during some random combat, I fired a L2 arrow at an enemy. After I fired the L2 arrow, I suddenly had the golden arrow in my inventory! Wow.
Wanting to see if I could reproduce this, I restarted (selecting "retry"), fired a L2 arrow, and once again, the golden arrow appeared in my inventory. Any subsequent arrows that I fired were golden arrows - now they fire 2-at-a-time and consume magic.
I'm keeping all of these weird/funny instances backed up as separate sav files, in case I want to (or anyone else wants to) investigate them later.

To get the second glove,
One must fall from above.
I can't remember the exact position from where you need to fall (I think I needed 2-3 attempts to get it correctly), but I did indeed do it in the past 48 hours or so. Just to clarify, you're falling 3 floors - first from 6F to 5F to land you on the left side of the ravine on 5F, then from 5F to 4F to land you to the right of the yellow star switch, and finally from 4F to 3F where the glove is. Good luck man.
Just out of curiosity, how many potions did you use on that boss?

That key from the Excavation B-1 NW corner is a level-specific key. They give two keys for some reason, rather than 1. I have absolutely no idea why. It's set to increase the value of keys by 1, not 2. That's why the number of keys went from 4 to 3 - Because you left an area that uses level-specific keys.
Fun bug about the Golden Arrows though. I actually have a script running on the screen with the golden arrows that sets a global flag when you're even on the screen, just to ensure that it's set. That was done to counteract another "design flub" that would only set the flag when the arrows were gotten. So I don't feel this is a bug. Nobody wouldn't get the golden arrows if they entered the screen anyway.

well thanks for the idea, but when you get to the northern part of F6 " I saw a chest,, when opened , was a super bomb inside, idea,, bomb the floor right there and drop down trough that whole, (this is new),, despite this boss is easy, wasted all my super bombs, my black bombs and two potions - didn't need to pick the boss key to open his door, just used the hookshot,, on the chest this opened and entered the boss room without getting the key,,weird thing like happened to you with the arrows,..PS.. still can't enter a door at F5, lower right - think most be a relic" in there ,,!

The smart thing to do is to make a new trigger enemy that's immune to everything except sword melee attacks. Wouldn't that be clever of me.
