@ the 30fps issue when battling in Tales of Abyss, try turning off the 3D effect and see if it switches to 60 FPS (Or look for a menu option in the game to disable 3D effects)

Even in 2D, it still runs at 30 fps. It's no big deal really.

I've decided to go through and beat every game that I own that I haven't beaten yet, I just started this week, and so far have only beaten "Adventures in the Magic Kingdom" and "Rush 'n Attack" (both for the NES)

Two down; thirty-nine to go...

Wow. Thirty nine more that you already own and haven't finished? Now I'm kind of curious what they are.

I finished Final Fantasy VIII, and just started IX. It's not bad, and the graphics look a bit better (characters are drawn in the same art style as the pre-rendered backgrounds). It's kind of interesting how the intant they finally perfect this method of graphics is when they move on to actual 3D environments for FFX. I'm kind of curious just how massive a game they could put together on a modern system using the methods they used for the PSX, just with better models and such. Anyways, my main issue with it is that it just seems slightly too simple after having done FFVII and FFVIII. I felt the same way when I did FFV, so I'm guessing it's just the way they handle trying to do a more playful type of game rather than a serious one.

By the way, with that 30-FPS-on-3DS, 60-on-PS2 thing, does that mean that everything moves at half speed, or just has slightly choppier movement?

Assassin's Creed II for me right now. I'm finding it to be a pretty enjoyable sandbox game. It's starting to feel a bit repetitive but hey, sandbox games are sandbox games; I loved Spider-Man 2 and it was pretty repetitive as well. Maybe I was just in it for the—

Well, that's thirty-nine out of 136 (Thirty nine that aren't broken or missing), like almost half of them are old, extremely difficult NES and SNES games, for the next one I want to beat I'm choosing between Blaster Master for the NES and Phantasy Star II for the Genesis

I beat 2 games. I beat Ocarina of Time 3D and Vanquish.

I'm playing the hell out of Abyss 3DS. I missed A LOT of things when playing it on the PS2. I made sure that I don't miss any sidequests/costumes/items etc on my 3DS run. I have to say, the touch controls in battle actually work well.

I'm 2/3 of the way in Final Fantasy XIII-2. You are going to love Serah a lot more when you play this game. I really have nothing to complain about it so far.

Since Snake Eater has been released on 3DS, I thought it would be a good time to start on Snake Eater in the MGS HD Collection I got for my birthday. Should I start with Snake Eater?

I picked up the Jak and Daxter collection a few weeks back, and I'm on an extended vacation down memory lane. Jak 1's beaten with 100% completion (yay first Platinum Trophy), and just beat Jak 2 last night with 186/286 orbs, 119% completion (yes this game has a screwed up percentage counter).

I recently beat Darkness II. Fantastic gameplay IMHO on PC, but WAY too short. And I have since been messing with several different games, including Heroes of Might and Magic 2 Gold again. I freaking love that series... well... 1, 2, 3 and 5. 4 changed too much and sucked, and 6 will not properly run on my system. ;P

I'm wanting to kick myself for not getting into this series earlier, because Assassin's Creed II is pretty fantastic. There's plenty of main and side objectives to find, with a few interesting secrets as well. Suddenly, I want to see a Zelda game with towns as big and populated as this; they sort of did it in TP, but all that game had were people walking around aimlessly. They're more lively in this game. Also I was kind of a dunce and forgot I had the last seal to the armor of Altair so I didn't have it when I could have gotten it earlier, but I have that unlocked. I miss the robes being white though. icon_frown.gif

Also started watching a walkthrough of the first Assassin's Creed on YouTube. I'm glad I started with II; it looks rather boring and tedious in comparison...

I'm almost done with Final Fantasy XIII-2. I'm just about done with Episode 5. So many side-quests in Episode 4. I hate those stupid clock puzzles. icon_frown.gif

Next game will the my JRPG for March: Tales of Graces f.

Bought Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and started playing Pokemon White, though I don't see myself playing that as often. I like Brotherhood, Borgia Towers and being able to renovate the entire city are awesome mechanics.
